"Ivy, I can't really walk," I reminded her with a bitterness in my tone, unsure of how she could be so energetic all the time. Did she have Monster Energy Drink flowing through her veins instead of blood?

"Well, why did you lose your crutches? That was kinda stupid," remarked the girl.

I frowned, sighing my anger out. I wasn't going to get mad at her, because I knew if I destroyed our friendship, I'd be alone on this ship with no one but knickers-in-a-twist Starscream to keep me company.

"I misplaced them. When I woke up, they were gone," I shrugged, hopeless, "anyways, how do you intend to find out what happened? Screamer told me he found us unconscious, and neither of us can remember what happened."

My gaze fell thoughtfully to the floor, ideas and possibilities swirling within my usual musings.

"Yeah. Logic-Bot told me the same thing. Weird. Mayb-"

She stopped talking, and I looked up, immediately seeing why.

"Leah, why is the room flashing?" she asked, totally not freaked out or skeptical, rather...hopeful, excited.

"I've seen this before," I told her quietly, solemnly, trailing off, anticipating what was to happen next. Starscream's entire chamber looked like it was having an electronic disco party, and I raised an eyebrow.

It was exactly what my TV had done before sucking me into this world.

Was I gonna go home?

"Close your eyes, Ivy, and brace yourself," I ordered, curling up into the fetal position and squinting my eyes shut, praying she did the same. I panicked slightly when I experienced the stomach-turning sensation of being thrown through the air, wincing as I heard Ivy cry out-obviously she didn't do as I told her to- and gasping as I hit the ground, rolling a little, a sharp, shocking pain jarring up my leg.

My ankle was never going to heal.

Grimacing, I slowly stretched out, listening to joints crack loudly, and I surveyed our new environment. There was a drastic difference between the metal, dull atmosphere of the Nemesis and the lush, green and fresh jungle we were in now. I saw Ivy's head poke up a short distance away, a couple leaves poking out from her mess of brown hair, a lopsided frown on her lips.

"Ouch," she proclaimed loudly with little emotion as she rose to her feet, whipping her head and back and forth to look around as I had done, "well, that was weird."

I laughed slightly, remembering the time surrounding our first meeting.

"Yep," I gave her an unamused look, "I told you to brace yourself."

"How was I supposed to know that I was gonna get thrown?"

"I still warned you," I shrugged, coughing a couple times because of the change in humidity, "anyways, where are we?"

An animal cry I could not associate to a creature I knew sounded from in the distance, and my head snapped to stare in the direction from where it came.

"What was that?" I asked with worry in my tone, eyes wide as I flicked my head back and forth between the ominous jungle and my companion, who was simply staring into the distance.

"I think it was a dinosaur," she stated blankly, a grin slowly tugging on her lips.

I was confused.

"You just think it was a dinosaur? How do you get a hunch like that?" I exclaimed sarcastically.

"It sounded like one," she shrugged, shifting her gaze to stare down at me, "are you scared?" she asked like a child, and I groaned.
