Chapter three: THAT was weird.

I muttered under my breath, and bit the the inside of my lip like I always do when I feel extremely anxious.

Megsy's glowing purple Fusion Cannon was aimed right at Ivy's head, Screamer was standing back, this smug look on his face I was all too tempted to slap (although that would be extremely unhelpful and pointless), and Ivy was just being an idiot in my opinion, standing where she was, provoking the last person anyone should want to provoke with the way she was looking at him.

"You wish for termination?" the Decepticon leader spoke quietly, a smirk on his lips, "so be it."

Everything seemed to happen in slow motion for me. I grabbed onto Screamer's ped, much to his disliking, as the cannon shuddered and fired, and the blast aimed straight for Ivy's heart. I couldn't bear to watch, but I had to.

Then, the weirdest thing happened.

The shot rebounded. The mass of purple death energy bounced off of my companions's chest and reflected directly back and hit Megatron in the foot.

Then, time went back to normal.

Megsy looked angry, well, furious was a better term, but he didn't show that the shot had effected him.

"What sort of trickery is this?" he bellowed as Ivy's cocky grin only grew.

"Well," she coughed, "that was weird."

The mech growled and turned to me, raising his cannon once again.

"Will we get the same outcome?" he questioned himself more than anyone else, and it took a few seconds for me to respond, the initial shock of what happened with my crazy friend still was still effecting me.

"No!" I exclaimed, letting go of my guardian's leg and holding my hands out, "can we not find out?"

I chuckled nervously, slowly backing away.

"Lord Megatron," I started in a pleading tone, and glanced up at Starscream, mouthing 'help me'.

All I received in return was a devious smirk, and at that moment, I began plotting my revenge. Some guardian he was.

Megatron's cannon never moved away, it's target obviously my heart.

Scrap. I'm gonna die.

I was ready to give up, but suddenly Ivy stepped in front of me, standing up straight and tall, protecting me like she was a shield.

"Not a chance, Megatronous," she spoke with a level of authority to match the Decepticon leader any day. My heart was pounding, and for a moment I stupidly thought it may have burst out of my chest. She shouldn't have talked to him like that. She keeps pushing her luck. I knew eventually she would be killed somehow.

"Do not call me that," the mech that wanted to kill us spoke after a long, tense silence, "or I will terminate you or your companion."

"What if she can't die, either?"

I ran a hand through my thick hair and wondered if Ivy knew went to keep her lips sealed. She was pushing it. I never wanted to take that risk, to find out whether or not a blast from a Cybertronian cannon would take my life. I would never do something with stakes so high.

"Then I will have you both thrown from the loading docks of this ship, and depending on our location at the given time, you may end up crashing onto your precious planet, or suffocating in the depths of space."

That would certainly kill us.

I interjected as soon as Ivy opened her mouth yet again.

"Okay! So, I beg your pardon, Lord Megatron," I hated the sound of that statement as it left my lips, but I suppressed a grimace, "we have have overstayed out welcome for sure," I held Ivy's wrist in a firm grip, "we know where the med bay is."

With a dip of the head, and a teasing look from Ivy, I practically dragged her through the automatic doors into the hallway. Starscream followed with fearful eagerness, motivated by a glare from his master.

"Yes, my Lord," me muttered dejectedly, and our little fellowship fell into awkward silence. I hesitantly released my friends wrist, giving her warning glance before gesturing she could take the lead.

The child inside me lit up with an idea.

"Starscream," I noticed how innocent my tone sounded, and I cleared my throat before continuing, "can I ride on you shoulder?"

He looked down at me the same way a 'superior' being would glare down their nose at a 'inferior' being, except he didn't have a nose.

"No. Why would I do such a humiliating thing? I am second in command on this ship! Imagine if one of my troops saw me! I would be taken as a joke! A fool!"

"Aww. Poor Starscream, worried about his image," teased Ivy, and the bot freaked out in the over exaggerated way he usually did on the show when denying things.

"I am not!" he exclaimed, then recovered, "I...just....."

He sighed, defeated. His shoulders hunched and he crossed his arms in frustration.

"So, does that mean yes?" I looked up at him, eyebrow raised.

The skinny mech rolled his optics.

"Fine," he bent down, extended a servo and I climbed on, smirking at him. His face told me he was certainly not amused.

"Thank you, my good sir," I said in a mock British accent. Well, it wasn't really mock. I am of immediate British descent.

My guardian's expression displayed confusion, and I chuckled as I sat down, shifting until I found a comfortable position on his shoulder.

"I like this," I concluded, "it makes me feel quite tall."

I'm one of the shortest people I know that are my age.

I looked down at Ivy's annoyed expression, and smirked.

"You can have one when we reach Shockwave, if you can convince the idiot that it's logical," I told her, not bothering to mutter the offensive comment I added.

She replied with a wicked grin.

"That won't be a problem, he's pretty gullible," she replied with an excitement that told me she knew what she was going to do.

We finally reached the lab. I suspect that my human companion decided to take the long way round, and I'm pretty sure Starscream thought so too.

"It's bigger in person," Ivy noted as the automatic doors opened and she stepped through, her eyes wide as she inspected the lab/Med Bay where Shockwave spent 99.5% of his time. Personally, I thought he needed to get out more.

"We should follow," I suggested to Screamer when the mech didn't move.

"Megatron will have contacted Shockwave and informed him of the current situation. I have no further use here," he said dryly, and I noticed something off about his statement. He didn't say 'Lord'. Maybe he still is the backstabbing Starscream all transfans know and love.

We started walking away. Well, he was doing the walking, I was riding.

"You didn't say Lord," I poked his faceplate, and his face altered from a smug, unamused one to one of panic.

"I, uh, it must have slipped my mind," he explained nervously, and his mouth dropped when I laughed.

"It's okay. I hate addressing Meagtron as such too," I patted his large shoulder beside where I was sitting, "I just wanted to see your reaction. I won't tell. I know you despise him."

Starscream masked his initial shock quite well as he continued down the long hallway.

A/N:

Ugh, so, Wattpad deleted the rest of this chapter, but this is probably the only time I'll have today to upload this, so here it is! I know it's a day late, I had a friend over. Initially, there was more to the chapter, but it was lost. Wattpad and Wifi issues are to blame.

Anyways, please vote, comment and tell your transfan friends!
