3- Morning drama

[3rd person POV]

California turned away from the stove, smiling proudly as she held a plate of pancakes in her arms. Oregon was still trying to master his first pankacke, but that was least of California's concern. Not really though.

"Are you still seriously making your first one? I'm like on my 7th!" California stated proudly, Oregon giving her a hateful glare.

"Shut up, It's my first time.." Oregon replied, keeping his eyes fixated on the cooking pan of pancake batter infront of him. Calfornia let out a small chuckle, still having a blissful grin on her face. "You can't get mad, I'm trying my best..."

"No no now, I'm not mad... Just saying..."Califronia then turned to face Oregon, making one last comment. "If you ever need help, you can  always ask your great big sis' Cali!" She said still arrogant yet sassy. Oregon gave her a clearly annoyed look.

"Your state is only nine years older than mines, not a big difference." Oregon rolled his eyes, which made California laugh more. 

"A lot can happen in 9 years, just saying. For example: Learning to cook pancakes-" Oregon took a pan from the oven swiftly, and smacked California with it. 

"SHUT UP YOU DARN CALIFORNIAC!" Oregon emphasized with great annoyance. Though, his efforts did little to shush California. 

California then looked at him with slight irritation, before smirking once again. "No need to get worked up for something that's true, just accept the truth little bro."  With that, California still walked away lookng unharmed, while Oregon was staring in her direction. 

Over pancakes.

[Washington's (He/Him) POV]

The [Redacted] did I just see? 

I was silently eating waffles, yes theres a difference between waffles and PANCAKES, before Oregon and California's arguing caught my attention. 

"Are you still seriously making your first one? I'm like on my 7th!"

"Shut up, It's my first time...You can't get mad, I'm trying my best..."

"No no now, I'm not mad... Just saying. If you ever need help, you can always ask your great big sis' Cali!"

"Your state is only nine years older than mines, not a big difference."

Okay, but did she seriously expect to get a good reaction from Oregon, he's one of the people I know that get's overworked abut every little comment! Call it low-tempered, or I don't know!

I took one more bite of my waffle, before hearing California yelp in pain as Oregon hit her with a pan. Clink noise.

oooooooooooooooo. 

I turned away as Oregon scolded California, and she somehow not being affected from it? Not to mention when Oregon called California a Californiac... Is that really an insult though? Oh well, that's just what happens when you live in a house with the US state capital and states. I've leaned not to be afraid or suprised when one of my siblings do or say something stupid. 

But he has simply not learned apparently to not trust them either...*
