glowing lines

It's been a week since Vante came here, and I couldn't be more happier than this. He's my first and only friend, more to say he's better than any real human.

I was walking back home after an hour of shopping for ingredients for making a cake I wanted to eat, well I'm forced to buy since my friendly robot wants to make one for me, I could've denied but the look on his face.. he looks so cute when he does that.. I was thinking about him when I didn't realise i laughed out loud and gained attention from the random people on the streets.

"I'm home" i said, as my eyes were looking for Vante , but he's nowhere to be seen, I put the ingredients on the small dining table and went to his room, and to my surprise he's not even there, i quickly went to the living room since it's only hope and there he was sitting on the couch not bothering to look at me, I stand in front of him, his eyes were closed,and he wasn't moving,for a split second it scared me.. I put my hands on his shoulders.. and that's when

"Bwaahaha, you should've seen the look on your face" he said i flinched from the sudden action, he was acting? Seriously?

"Have fun? Scaring the shit outta me?" I said in a way sarcastic tone and walked back to the kitchen not bothering to look at the humanoid robot who looks now sad.

"Y/n I'm sorry, it was just a prank" he said,

"Prank? I thought something h-happened to you" i said and for some reason my voice cracked.. I started to put the ingredients on their respective place when a hand grabbed my arm pulling me towards them

"Vant-"I was interrupted by the sudden hug, my head came in contact with his hard chest but i didn't feel the pain, he hugged me for the first time, I felt the same comfort, my safe place.. but soon it faded as he pulls away

"I'm so sorry y/n I've never thought it will make you upset, please don't get angry on me, I won't do anything like this again" he said with puppy eyes, and it always melts me..

"Fine" as soon as I said the smile on his face returns

"You forgave me?" He asked with those puppy eyes he knows how to convince me

"Yes" I can't help but to smile at his cuteness

"Let's make the cake now"

"But I told you I don't know how to make that"

"I'll teach you, it's so easy and you'll love it" he said getting excited and I nod and followed his actions, absorbing every information about how to bake

"Get me some flour first" he said as I nodded and made my way towards the shelf, it's quite high for God knows why, my fingers just touched the container when I heard him

"Let me help you" he said coming closer when i did a last try and boom

"Oh my god I'm so sorry, Vante are you okay?" I asked worriedly when the container of flour fell onto his head, all of the flour on his body making him appear like a ghost

"Don't worry it doesn't hurt me" he said dusting off the flour from his body, although he said it's fine but something inside me said not to buy it.

"It won't affect you right?, Do it'll damage your any system?" I asked, my face showing how worried I am right now..

"Y/n I'm okay, I'm not that weak besides i need to clean it up" he said smiling and pointing towards his clothes which now looks white instead of brown

"Let me help you" i quickly went to the bathroom grabbing a towel and coming back to him only to saw him shirtless? His body isn't well built but those blue glowing lines are everywhere on his bare chest connected with each other making a square shape at some distance and going down to his torso, is enough for me gulp my saliva, for god's sake he's a robot why I'm blushing

"Oh you're here, it seems like some of the flour are way too close to my sensors, i really need to clean it up or else.. it'll damage it" he said pointing towards his blue lines so those are sensors i said to myself coming close to him.. handed him the towel to clean himself and turned around, I mean what if he thinks I'm a creep

"I can't wipe it off, y/n what should I do?" He asked me and now he seems worried, I looked at him he was busy wiping the flour particles from the sensitive area.. i thought of something before grabbing his hands and make it to the living room, I made him sit on the floor before grabbing the cleaner spray and sat on the couch facing his back

"What are you doing y/n?" He asked while looking at me completely clueless

"I'm cleaning you" I smiled and took the spray before spraying it on his back and wiping the extract from the sensors it's so smooth unlike his other body parts and glows whenever I touch it.. it's all over his chest and back but why not on his face or hands i wonder and asked him

"What are these glowing lines Vante? I asked him and I felt him smile before answering,

"Those are sensors, as you can see it's all over my body it glows whenever I try to sense something.. it's one of the most sensitive part of my body and because of this I get to know about and show the human emotions" he said I formed my mouth as 'o' again.. for some reason it's so interesting to know about him, more interesting than my English novels' protagonists love life

"But why it's not on your face or hands?" I asked again cleaning the last line as he turned his face towards me

"So that I can resemble more like a human rather than a robot and it'll help me to get along with the humans easily that's why it's here I can easily hide them with clothes" he smiled showing his teeth before standing up

"I think some of the flour are on my chest lines too, could you please clean it too?" He asked no he requested in his baby voice, how in the world he know how to convince me? Fr? I looked at his chest and then at his face, blood rushed through my veins and I can feel my cheeks radiating heat.

"Oh okay" I stand up as well, he's really taller than me , i sprayed it on his chest and earn a small hiss like sound, does he feel pain? I looked at him and there he was still smiling, i quickly started to wipe the flour out from his chest.. not bothering to give a damn about how close I am to him, when I was finally done I looked at him again and to my surprise he was still looking at me I quickly pull myself away from him and hitted my leg with the couch ready to fall, a small scream escaped my mouth and I closed my eyes shut but I didn't fall, I opened my one eye to look at him, grabbing my waist pulling me towards him maintaining the same distance as before between us again

"Be careful, You could've hurted yourself" he said his voice was not like that little clingy boy but more like a manly deep one. i gulped my own saliva when he pulled himself away grabbing his shirt and walking towards the bathroom, he mumbled something slowly on his way inaudible to me

"What was that"I asked myself, processing what just happened and looking at his direction until he vanished from my sight..
