Tony set me up with one of the empty apartments in the Avengers tower and even offered me a shopping spree.
"Tony... I don't want to take advantage of you...."
Tony smiled at me like a kid who just drew a horrible picture for their parent, "Sharon, you can't just go around in barrowed sweats from the Hulk."
My stomach flipped it wasn't his fault that I was a big girl and couldn't say barrow clothes from Natasha or Wanda, "Thank you. I won't get crazy."
Natasha smiled as she came in with keys, "Ready?"
Tony grinned, "Nat make sure Sharon splurges some."
Natasha winked, "Wanda is waiting for us."
I sighed as Natasha walked with me to meet Wanda, "I am not used to all this. And I don't mean the fact I somehow fell into a strange universe. I grew up poor; like foodstamp and government cheese poor. I am still poor!"
Natasha paused, "Sharon... Tony wouldn't offer if he really didn't want to help."
I sigh, "I know... I do."
Natasha lifted my chin, "I don't know what your life was like before, but you do deserve to be happy and hell... if you never get a chance again, live like a millionaire. "
I laugh, "Ok ok let's live it up."

"Why do I need an evening gown?" I pout as Wanda and Natash drag me through high-end shops.
Wanda smiled, " Because Tony likes to throw parties."
Under my breath, I mumble, "Yeah, I know." I sigh and let them treat me like a real life plus size doll.
A sales clerk at one store made a rude comment about my appearance (I was still in barrowed sweats)that I thought only I heard,  but Wanda and Nat heard too, and the poor woman barely got away with her job. Nat muttered in Russian and then looked at me, "Sharon, that woman is full of it. You can bet once I tell Pepper not a single person will shop here."
I smiled, "Thanks, but she wasn't wrong... just rude."
Finally, we have a whole new wardrobe, including evening wear and accessories.
"Don't tell me the total I will cry."I tease.
Wanda chuckled, "It's ok... I felt the same after Tony adopted me and my brother. "
I sigh again as we get in the car, "I am just trying to adjust... where I am from... well, let's just say I don't get the pretty princess treatment. "

"Tony... Sharon has only been here a few days a don't think..." Steve tried to talk Tony out of throwing a party.
"Ah, come on. It's just what she needs to cheer her up."
Steve sighed, "Tony, she is literally from a whole different world. Who does she know here?"
Tony frowned, "Damn it, Cap. I know that. A party will introduce her to people. "
Steve shook his head, "This is a bad idea."
