Chapter 16

Halilintar glanced to the side and at the corner of his eyes he could see Fang standing at the exit door with a small frown on his face, he didn't acknowledge the boy and when back to look at his hand.

"mind if I join you?" Fang asked as he made his way closer to the boy in red, they stood side by side at the edge of the railing "Are you going to go away if I say yes"

Fang let out a soft chuckle "Nope" he said cheekily as he tilted his head, seeing this cute side Halilintar could feel his cheeks getting warm all of a sudden and he quickly turned away from the other view.

"the view from here is quite breathtaking, no wonder you came up here" Fang said as he looked at the view in front of them, he could see almost every part of the city as well as a small part of the forest nearby.

This makes Halilintar realize something and turn to the boy next to him "How did you know how to come up here"

"your brothers" Fang simply answered without taking his eyes away from the scenery, Halilintar rolled his eyes as an annoyed expression displayed on his face "Of course they tell" he mumbled under his breath.

Halilintar then glanced at the raven boy with one of his eyebrows raised "Since when did you get so close with my brothers?"

"Today, we kind of bonded on our way to school, you should've joined us" Fang said with a big smile on his face and seeing that Halilintar could feel his heart skipping a bit faster than it normally does.

Halilintar rolled his eyes as he turned his head to look at the view once again "I don't exactly choose to get in that car either" Halilintar said as he took the cup that was sitting on the pillar.

Fang looked at the boy with a furrowed brow, his hand was a little shaken as he felt a little nervous about asking and he began to wonder if he should even ask about it as he feared that it would anger Halilintar even more.

"so what is it?"

"Huh?"

Halilintar turned to look at him with an unimpressed look on his face "There's a reason you're up here, so what was it" Halilintar said in a demanding tone and straight to the point.

Fang scratches his cheek awkwardly as his eyes keep on wonder around looking at everything other than the person in front of him, this only makes Halilintar raise his eyebrows as it gets him even more curious.

It must be something awkward for Fang to be this nervous "Well it wasn't- I just wanted to check up on you"

"that's it?" Halilintar looked at the boy weirdly and he couldn't help but feel that there were other reasons Fang came looking for him as he have no doubt that the other already warned him about coming closer to Halilintar at a time like this.

Fang nodded his head slowly as his emerald ruby eyes finally decided to look at Halilintar's "Y-yeah, you look like you weren't in a good mood earlier so I just worried something happened"

Halilintar can feel the heat start to roast up to his cheeks once again "You don't have to tell me anything... I can just accompany you here, no talking necessary"

Halilintar stared blankly at Fang for a few seconds before letting out a hum before placing his forearm onto the railing as he leaned forward his eyes wondering at the bright blue sky in front of him.

Fang soon followed with a smile on his face and customary to his words Fang said nothing and both of them just enjoyed the view together, as they enjoyed their quiet time together Halilintar couldn't help but smile "thanks Fang"
