CHAPTER ELEVEN: The one where

It had been a whole since Luffy, Lia and Zoro were on the roof talking. Lia had decided that as much as she loved looking at the stars at night she needed some sleep, especially if she was going to fight Arlong and his  crew to get Nami back.
Nojiko warmed up to the crew and she handed Lia a blanket and a pillow to stop her from getting a terrible backache and to prevent her from being cold. Lia hated sleeping in situations like this, they could be attacked any minute, or Luffy could decide to get up and go after Nami at any moment.
Lia tried to keep her eyes open, but she couldn't  any longer, she closed her eyes eventually falling asleep. She used to love her sleep as a kid but now every time she closes her eyes she just gets images of her parents leaving her, or worse imagines of all her family and friends dying in front of her. She had gone through that her entire life since they had left and she couldn't help it. Her dreams felt too real.

'hello?' Lia called out, everything felt so real but little did she know she was dreaming.

"hello?" she walked down a long corridor with nothing but doors. the walls were bright white, it was nearly blinding for her.

'Zoro, Luffy?' she called out as she continued walking down the corridor, it seemed never ending.

'anyone?' she shouted, but heard nothing but silence, you would be able to hear a pin drop.

Before she could take in her surroundings a door opened and she was pulled inside. Falling down onto the floor of a boat.

'what the-' she turned around and begin to stand up but infront of her, her parents appeared. Her mother and father stood next to each other staring at their daughter.

'my darling Lia how i've missed you so much,' there was something so sinister about her mothers smile, but to Lia's knowledge this wasn't a dream.

'how did i get here?' they were in the middle of the ocean sailing away, one minute she was at conomi island with her crew and the next she was back with her parents.

'am i dreaming?' Lia looked down at her hands, as her mum took them in her own. Her touch felt so real that Lia believed it was happening, which made her panick.

'where are the others? Zoro? where's Zoro?' Lia looked around to only see her parents on the boat, it was as if they were the only 3 there.

'they left you, you were useless to them so we've come back for you,' her father spoke up, embracing his daughter in a hug which wasn't reciprocated.

'what happened to them?' Lia was so confused.

'they left without you sweetheart, they abandoned you, they no longer need you,' those words broke Lia's heart, it was like her whole life was repeating itself.

'this isn't real,' Lia was in disbelief, pinching herself hoping she would wake up.

'you're with us now,' her mother tried to console her daughter.

'no, you both stay the hell away from me,' Lia smacked her mothers arm away from her. She didn't want any comfort from her parents, when she looked at them she just saw red. all she wanted to do was kill them. that's all she's ever wanted to do, find them and then kill them.
