CHAPTER TWELVE: The one where they defeat Arlong

The next morning the crew walked through the village, or atleast what was left of it after Arlong and his crew had completely destroyed it.

'how could someone do this?' Lia asked, she was shocked. Surrounding them was frame work of houses, everything had been burnt down.

'to punish the villagers. and to punish me,' Nami was heartbroken at the state of the village.

'what's going on?' Nami questioned as Genzo, Nojiko and a whole lot of villagers walked towards them.

'Nojiko told us about your sacrifice. we didn't know. can you ever forgive us?' Genzo spoke.

'there's nothing to forgive. coco village is my home,' Nami replied.

'then it's out turn to sacrifice. we're done living in fear. we're gonna march on Arlong Park. If those fish men want a fight-' Genzo was ready for payback.

'that's not a fight. that's a massacre. you will all be killed.' The last thing Nami wanted was for the villagers to fight. She was right, compared to Arlong Park they were nothing, no way near as strong.

'if there's no hope for us to buy our freedom, then i say we die trying to fight for it,' the villagers yelled in response to Genzo. They were all ready to fight for their home, not wanting to live in fear of Arlong any longer.

'i won't let you do that. this is my fight,' Nami silenced the villagers.

'no. this is our fight. right guys?' Luffy looked left and right at his crew.

'finally i get to cut something,' was all Zoro had to say.

'but how are we going to beat arlong, we saw what he did at the Baratie,' Usopp asked a pretty valid question. He was strong. Strong enough to nearly kill Luffy.

'every creature has a weakness,' Zoro spoke in the same tone. He was ready to fight.

'i'll know it when i see it and when i do i won't hesitate,' Luffy spoke in confidence. He wanted nothing more than to see Arlong suffer after everything he's put not only the village through but Nami.

The crew broke into Arlong Park, ready to fight.

'fishmen! stand by and repel boarders,' chewy shouted at the men.

'where's arlong?' Luffy questioned, ready to go straight in after him.

'he's probably in the map room,' Nami informed Luffy.

Nami and Luffy split off to find Arlong, whilst the others were to fight the other fishmen.

Zoro grabbed his last sword that he had and began to fight, Sanji doing what he does best and attacking fishmen with his legs and feet. Then Lia who grabbed her sword and began to attack more fishmen. Usopp with his slingshot ready to attack. They were all angry and all had something to fight for.

As Zoro ran across the bridge, slashing one of the fishmen who got in Luffys way, he landed back on the ground next to Lia, grabbing his chest, where his wound was.
