"You good babe?" Nico asks me.
He walks into the bathroom. This past week I've been throwing up in the mornings.
After I finish I answer him. "Meh."
"I'm sorry, do you need anything."
"Breakfast, I'm starving.'
He chuckles. "Okay." He leaves the room.
I think I'm pregnant. My appetite has increased, my back always hurts, my period is late. Wait my period's late. Oh gods, how am I gonna tell Nico? We haven't talked about having kids. I grab my phone and call Gemma.
"Hi, baby sis. What's up."
"Umm so my period's late, my back always hurts, and I'm always hungry. Oh, and I've been having bad mood swings."
"So you think you're pregnant."
"Yeah."
"And you want to go to the doctor."
"Also yeah."
"Kay I'll pick you up in five minutes."
"Okay."
I walk out of the bathroom after hanging up.
"Neeks, I'm still not feeling well. Gem's picking me up to go to the doctor."
"Okay, hope you feel better." He kisses me then I go to our bedroom to change.
I pick out some sweatpants and a T-shirt then grab my sky blue Converse.
A minute later my phone dings signaling Gemma's here.
"Hi."
"Hey."
"So, are you having any other symptoms?"
"Mmm, I have been gaining a bit of weight."
"Everything you're describing is how I felt when I was pregnant with Lucia."
"How do I tell Nico."
"Just tell him."
"We haven't talked about having kids."
"Oh, well you gotta do it, sis. I'm prayin' for ya."
"Seriously you're not gonna help me."
"He's your husband. I love you, but this is a you problem."
"Fine."

"Mrs. di Angelo, we have great news for you. You're pregnant."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
Gemma squeezes my hand.
"Don't worry, Nico will be more than happy."
"I hope you're right."
She drops me off back at Nico and I's house and wishes me luck.
"Hi baby, is everything okay." Neeks greets me when I step into the house.
"We need to talk," I tell him.
"Are you okay," he asks worriedly.
"Nico, I'm pregnant."
"Oh my gods." He exclaims. I'm worried.
"I'm gonna be a dad. I'm gonna be a dad. This is so exciting."
"You're not mad," I ask.
"Why would I be mad?"
"I don't know."
"Well, you're going to be a great mom."
"And you're going to be an even better dad."
"We'll be amazing parents."
