The Key To Living Is Love

I can't believe it. I found out today that I'm pregnant. I'm still in shock, and I haven't told anyone yet, not even my husband Nico. I'm nervous to tell him because we already have an eight-month-old baby, Bianca, and adding another baby to the mix will be quite stressful. I take a deep breath and try to calm myself down before he gets home from work.

As I hear the front door open, I can feel my heart racing. I take another deep breath and walk into the living room where Nico is setting down his work bag.

"Hey, babe," he says, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "How was your day?"

"Um, it was okay," I reply, trying to act normal. "I have something to tell you, though."

He looks at me with concern, "What is it?"

I take another deep breath before blurting out, "I'm pregnant."

There is a long pause as he just stares at me, processing the information. Finally, he breaks into a huge smile. "Really? That's amazing!" He pulls me into a tight hug.

I'm surprised by his reaction, I thought he would be stressed out about adding another baby to our family, but instead, he's overjoyed.

"I know we already have Bianca, but I think we can handle another baby," he says. "I'm so excited to be a father again."

I can't help but smile at his enthusiasm. "I'm glad you're happy about it," I say. "I was a little nervous to tell you."

"Why?" he asks, puzzled.

"I don't know, I just thought you might be stressed out about adding another baby to the mix," I reply.

"Of course, it will be a lot of work, but I know we can handle it," he says. "And think about how much Bianca will love having a little brother or sister."

I can't help but agree. Bianca is going to be such a great big sister. And I know that Nico and I will be able to handle the challenge of raising two children.

"Ok, I trust you," I say with a smile. "Let's do this."

The next few months fly by in a blur of doctor's appointments, baby showers and preparing for the new baby. Through it all, Nico is by my side, supporting me and helping out as much as he can. I'm so grateful to have him by my side.
