it's been ninety seven years since a nuclear apocalypse killed everyone on earth, leaving the planet simmering in radiation. unfortunately there were survivors. twelve nations had operational space stations at the time of the bombs. there is now only the ark. one station forged from the many. they're told the earth needs another hundred years to become survivable again. four more space-locked generations, and man kind can go home, back to the ground. the ground, that's a dream. it's now time to live in reality.
the redhead sits up straight in her bed, her hands resting on her knees, with her eyes shut. her roommate; octavia blake. paces the room in front of her. "lia,"the brunette calls out. "yeah?"she hums in response. "you know, you look creepy as shit when you do that"octavia insults, glancing outside the small window of their room, dahlia lets out an amused giggle. "holy mother of suits"the blake girl mutters slowly stepping backwards from the door. dahlia's eyes open at the sudden sentence that escapes octavia's lips.
