HwaYi POV
I can't believe how fast time can fly. It has been six years since Hoya first appeared before me and took me on a rollercoaster of emotions in New York. Then five years ago he appeared before me once more in order to take me back to Seoul with him.
The past five years have been quite a trial for us. Once the fans knew about his relationship, they wanted all the details. Who I was? How he met me? and so on.
He was kind to the fans and answered some of their questions, but he was careful not to divulge too much so that we could still have some privacy. Despite our efforts, the fans did ultimately figure out who I was. Surprisingly though, they would give me encouraging words and ask that I deliver gifts to the guys for them instead of demanding I break up with him. Hoya really must have worked hard in order for them to be so understanding of our relationship.
I had found an apartment in their dorm building with the help of their boss, so that we would be able to see each other even when he was busy.
As for money, I had to find a job. Their boss offered me a position at Woollim and as happy as I was, I knew that I shouldn't take it; But I did. It's not a glorious position or anything like that. I don't even get to see them much when I'm working. Regardless, I'm happy that I can be near them and support them any way I can.
"Still I can't believe it has been six years since that fateful day" I chuckled to myself as the coordi Unnies were running around getting me ready. I don't know why, but they love to dress me up all the time. Especially when we go overseas with the guys.
"Has it really been six years?" Sunggyu asked as he came in to check on me.
"Yeah!" I smiled.
"Time sure flies fast" he chuckled.
"Finished!" the Unnies said.
I smiled as I stood up and thanked them. Then I walked over to Sunggyu and gave him a hug. "Thank you Sunggyu."
He seemed a bit shocked by my actions "For what? I didn't do anything!"
"You were my friend when I needed one the most. You supported my decision, even though you knew that it was going to hurt us all. You stood beside me when I needed you and you pushed Hoya to do what needed to be done. You looked out for me like a real brother. Thank you" I sobbed into his chest.
He got a bit flustered "Ya! Don't cry! They just finished your makeup! You're going to ruin it and Hoya will blame me!"
I chuckled at his nervousness as I wiped the tears from my eyes. "Thank you!" I smiled at him.
He hugged me and said "Whatever!" Then he pushed me out the door and said "Go have fun! This is our only day off!"
"Right!" I chuckled a bit more before running out of the room. "Bye Oppa!"
Hoya POV
"Has it really been six years?" I asked myself as I waited for HwaYi in the hotel lobby. I chuckled to myself.
We had come back to New York for another World Tour and we were lucky enough to get a day off. Well, not really lucky, I had to beg and beg and beg the boss to give us this one day off. Thankfully he agreed to give it to us, but only after I told him why I really wanted it.
Time sure flew by fast. Then again, we were always busy with our practice and schedules and HwaYi had her own work to do too.
As I was lost in thought reminiscing, I didn't know that HwaYi had snuck up on me. "What are you thinking about?" she asked.
I smiled as I looked at her. "You" I said sweetly before giving her a peck on the lips.
She blushed instantly. "Hoya!" she whispered in embarrassment.
"Ready to go?" I asked as I held out my hand.
"Yes!" she smiled as she took my hand.
Just like all of our dates, we took it slow. I never wanted to rush when I was with her. I wanted time to pass as slowly as possible.
We walked all around New York just like we did six years ago.
HwaYi POV
I think New York will always be one of my favorite places. After all, it is where I fell in love with Hoya.
We spent the entire day just walking around and taking in the sights. Then around noon, he brought me to Times Square. I had almost forgot that I wanted to come here six years ago, but we never did make it.
As I was looking up at all the signs, one of them caught my attention and I froze. "Hoya! Why are you......."
Suddenly music started playing over the crowded streets and Hoya's voice was singing one of the most beautiful love songs ever. He dropped to one knee in front of me and held out a small box.
"HwaYi" he looked up at me as he took my left hand and asked "Will you be my wife?"
Tears started flowing from my eyes as I nodded. "Yes" I choked. "Yes!" I continued to sob.
Hoya took the ring from the tiny box and placed it on my finger. Then he stood up and kissed me. "I love you HwaYi" he held me tightly.
"I love you too Hoya!"
The crowd around us started cheering, causing me to blush even more. Then as I took a closer look at those around us, I saw the other members of Infinite, as well as fans holding signs congratulating us.
My Week With Infinite ended up becoming a lifetime of never ending Love.
