The brothers have all been waiting for their new human friend to visit them especially Mikey. He has checked every manhole around the lair everyday trying to see if she will come but there was nothing.
But one day that changed and as they were playing punch buggy but with roaches around their favorite trash pile. They heard the familiar screech of a manhole being opened. They all turned as Raph was in the middle of punching Leo in the shoulder. They saw two shoes attached to legs climbing down the ladder.
"YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!" Mikey yelled as he already knew who it is. April climbed down the ladder and walked over to the turtles. "Wow...I didn't expect you to actually come back" I say as I look shocked.
(Sorry that was in Donnie POV)
April raised her eyebrow at Donnie and chuckled "why wouldn't I come back? You guys like...saved my life!" She said with enthusiasm. Donnie smiled at this and then Leo came over to Donnie and he looked at her. "So...what do you wanna do?" Leo asked her and then Donnie looked at Leo. "Dude...we are in the sewers...were mutant turtles...she probably has questions for us" said Donnie.
"I do actually!" Said April and she grabs a notepad and a Hello Kitty pen from her back pocket. "Okay...so first question...do you guys have ears?" She said looking at them. Donnie just frowned at her "oh no we definitely can't hear you talking right now no we absolutely positively do NOT have ears" Leo kicks Donnie's leg. "Dude lay off" Donnie says "oof" when he is kicked. "It's basic knowledge to infer somebody has ears when they respond to the questions!"
The two kept bickering and then April looked at them with a confused face. "Um...do they always fight this much?" April asked gesturing to the two with her Hello Kitty pen. "Yup" Mikey and Raph said in unison as they looked like they saw this everyday with a hint of annoyance on their faces.
"She was just asking a question! You don't have to go full sarcasm on her!!" Leo said back and then Donnie rolled his eyes at Leo. "You should know by now that sarcasm is kind of my thing." Donnie says smirking at Leo. "I just find it lets me show off my undeniable and prestigious genius." Donnie said using those words because he knew that Leo didn't know what they meant. "Speak. ENGLISH!!" Leo said frustrated at Donnie.
"Okay okay okay break it up you two!" Raph said shaking his head at them and pulling them apart. "Umm...okay...you have ears..." April says as she writes it down. "Okay next...why do you live in the sewer?" April says cocking her head at us slightly. "Be ause modern society still attacks slash tries to destroy anything that isn't remotely "normal" and since we are Turtles of course they would try to test on us, next question" Donnie said without hesitation and his three brothers just looked at him confused like he was talking with documentary lingo.
"Are you guys seriously THAT DUMB!?" Donnie said and they all glare at him. "What!?" Mikey rolls his eyes and then turns back to April. "Have any more questions for us?" Mikey asks and April looks through the things she has written. "What's your guys's favorite food?" Then all the turtles smirk and look at each other and in unison they all yell "PIZZA!!!" Then Mikey, Raph, and Leo fall on the floor laughing while Donnie chuckles quietly.
"We love all kinds of pizza...hehe" Donnie says chuckling before looking back up at April seriously. "But if you dare EVER buy Hawaiian pizza...or say that pineapple on pizza is "good"...I will not hesitate to slap you..." Donnie said as his drawn on eyebrow twitches.
April nods quickly before writing that down in big letters so she doesn't forget. Then Leo hears the conversation and sits up. "Donnie I like pineapple on pizza it tastes delectable" Leo says making sure to use a big word just to piss him off more. "Ah...my brother how our perspectives are so different..." Donnie says glaring daggers at him as he walks up to Leo and before he could tackle Leo, Raph caught him as Donnie swung at air.
"LET ME ATTACK HIM!!" Donnie yells as he struggles in Raphs grip. Leo just smirks at Donnie provoking him more as April stands to the side watching this unveil not knowing what to do. "Leo! Stop provoking him and Donnie!...it's just pineapple!" Donnie stops freezing when Raph said that. Donnie's head turned at the slowest pace one could ever dream about as he turns to look at Raph..."JUST pineapple?"
Mikey gets tired of this setting Leo down walking over to Donnie and flicking the side of his face. "Calm down dude we get it you hate pineapple and you highly dislike anyone who likes it but that doesn't mean you are going to fight your twin for the love of pizza supreme in the sky!"
Donnie looks shocked that his little brother did that but he just grumbles and gets set down by Raph. "We aren't twins we aren't even the same species of turtle!" Donnie said and Leo's smirk grew exponentially...he just found something that annoys Donnie.
