Mari's pov~

So yeah it's my birthday wow.. cool I guess I'm 18 now me and my twin tia...oh you didn't know we were twins well now you do.

Oh ..and yeah I'm older than Carl by at least a month and a few weeks..

So anyway this is what happened on my birthday ..

Still Mari's POV~

I wake up and sit up on my bed and check my phone for any texts from anyone.
( I don't have many friends besides Car

There was only like three text from people and only one of them said happy birthday and that was from Carl so fuck everyone else.

I put my phone down and got up and grabbed some clothes and took a shower.

I came out in a black cropped t-shirt and shorts.

I go down stairs and eat breakfast and shortly my sister, dad and mom join me at the table and we all eat together.

My dad asked "How do you feel, Mari ?" and I say" About the same as I always feel." My dad smiles at me and laughs while saying"yeah you'll feel that way until you're my age.

My mom buds in and says "honey you're scaring him, and how are you this morning tia?"then mom and tia start having a conversation.

I get up and go to the fridge and say "it's ok
Dad because when I'm your age I'm going to be a star~."my dad starts fake crying and says"I thought the same thing when I was your age but look at me now."

I roll my eyes and open the fridge and tia says" we get it dad your old and you're taking it out on young people."

I laugh and my mom gives tia a look and tia says"what it's true." my mom smiles and nods and says"your right." My dad turned to mom and gives her an offended look and we all laugh.

Later in the day

Carl's pov ~

I head down stairs quietly and my mom stops me and says "Carl where do you think you're going...you didn't take out the trash yesterday."

I sigh and say mom" you're always bitching about something I got to go."she looks me up and down your not going anywhere with that attitude..and what are you wearing."

I smile weakly and apologize and say " it's mari's birthday and It's just a black t shirt and some sweat pants."

She sighs and says"take out the trash and you can go, but I better see you here tomorrow."I smile and hug her tightly and take out the trash and rush out the door.

Mari's pov~

I hear a knock at the door and go to open it it's Carl and I let him in, and he smiles at my parents who are sitting on the couch
And he heads there way then I noticed a black paper bag in his hand and I can't help but wonder "what's in that?"

Carl stands in front of my parents and says "Mr and Mrs Anderson can I date your son." I get embarrassed and both of my parents look at each other and back at Carl they nod and smile.

From what I could see Carl's ears turned red, and he quickly turned around and got down on one knee and says "mari will you be my boyfriend."

I make my voice high pitched and say "yes! Yess a hundred times yes!!"and he rolls his eyes as he gets up and chuckles and says "Oh shut up ~" and he grabs my waist and kisses me.
