"HEY, WHAT'S GOIN' on?" A young, light-blonde, caucasian woman smiles towards a rattling camera, her body jolting and bouncing with the rattle of her brother's car. She fiddles with said camera for a second, setting it upon a hands-free mount and realigning the sight.
"What's up?" the blond boy sat behind the steering wheel calls over with a grin, one arm resting upon the open window's ledge. There's a similar camera set up before them both, resting centrally upon the dash.
"My name's June and this is Sebastian, and I s'pose this is our audition tape," June laughs lightly, taking hold of the 'oh shit' bar above her seat as Seb throws his 4-runner through a particularly messed up section of track. "Thought it'd be easier if we made one together. Both applying anyway, 'ey."
"That's it," Seb agrees. "Also thought it'd be nice to get it done while doing something that represents what we're like."
"Yeah. We're both pretty keen on bush bashing," June chuckles, her body swaying through the potholes and bends. "This track's a little rough, but she'll be right. Anyway, we're siblings, well, twins, actually, and we're from Australia. I'm currently a work-in-progress author and Seb runs a YouTube channel that's racked up a fair few subs. What're you on now?"
"Just crossed six million a few weeks back," Seb grins over. "That's what this is for," he gestures to the second camera, "recording something for the channel. You'll find lots of stuff over there with June in."
"I'm a bit of a tag-along, but then again, why not? Nothing better to do. Helps me think, too, about novel plots and such, which is one of the bigger reasons I'm applying for Total Drama Island. Think it'll be a wicked opportunity to brush up on inspiration. It's probably worth mentioning that I'm a former Corporal for the Aussie Defence Force if you're keen on that kinda thing."
"That she is. Good for the ratings, right?" Seb eyes June's camera with a small grin. "A couple of Aussies mixed in with a bunch of Americans can only be a good thing. I'm just looking to raise my numbers a little."
"They're Canadian, Sebby," June laughs causing the young man to shrug.
"Yeah, right-o," he laughs.
"Anyway, so former Corporal June Kimber and Ausbastian reporting for duty if you want us. That's that I s'pose," June shrugs. "Looking forward to hearing from- fuckin' hell, Seb, take it easy."
"Calm down, would ya? It's fine."
"Fuck me dead, you're gonna end up rollin' it you-"
