As an explorer and recent bounty hunter, Max encounters Absolute, a member of the feared Avareza group, in the middle of a scale-collecting mission. Glory finds them and tries to scare them away, to no avail. When all sides seem frustrated, a rare pokémon, along with her companion Blaziken, finds them. After a while they discover what the mysterious pokémon is after. Throughout the trip, the group learns to live together despite their differences and past grudges, even forming friendships.
