We started to get close to each other.
We talked more often.
Laughed more often.
Then you started bullying and teasing me in a friendly way.
I know it was just fun and games, but it still annoyed me.
I tried not to show it.
I just smiled and let you do whatever.
You carried on until it actually made me really annoyed, but I kept quiet.
Since you were still part of my friend group, I couldn't say anything.
It's not like I would anyway.
Then one day we were walking back to our classroom and you said to me,
'If I like someone, I annoy them a lot,'
And you walked away, with your other friend.
But I just stood there, processing.
Did you like me in that way?
Did you mean that?
Did you not realise what you said?
Or did you like me as a friend only?
