You and Theo were a thing. That's right, were, because tonight you'd end it for good. In front of everyone to make it as embarrassing as possible. That's what the bastard deserved. What happened? Well let me tell you.

You and Theo had a seemingly perfect relationship for three months. He bought you flowers, took you out on dates and you hung out almost every day. You genuinely liked him, and you obviously thought he did too. Even though you never had the 'what are we' conversation, you were together. Weren't you?
One overheard conversation changed everything.

"So she seriously fell for it?"
You were walking towards Theo's dorm to see if he had stolen your snacks, again, but heard an unknown voice and Theo's laughter from another dorm you had just passed. You stopped in your tracks and took a couple steps towards the door, trying to be quiet. You felt a bit bad for eavesdropping, but you were curious who 'she' is.
"Yeah, not that I expected anything else. She's too trusting for her own good," Theo laughed. Judging by the smell he just lit a cigarette. 'Since when has he smoked inside?' You thought to yourself, creeping closer to the door.
"I kinda feel bad for Y/n though," a third voice said.
'The fuck?' You thought, 'No, it can't be... Theo wouldn't do this to me...' You peeked from behind the door, trying to see better.
"Why? She won't even find out," Theo shrugged, and gave the cigarette to Regulus, who was sitting on his bed.
"I know, I know," Regulus muttered and took a drag.
"So, when do I get my 30 galleons?" Theo smirked to Draco, who was also in the room. He didn't seem as regretful as Regulus did.
"When you get her to admit that she loves you, we need proof. You believing she loves you isn't enough," Draco answered, making Regulus let out a sigh and look at him disappointed.
At this point you had heard enough, and it had brought tears in your eyes. 'I was just a bet?' You quickly made your way to the stairs and ran to your dorm, trying not to fall apart in front of anyone.

It has been about three weeks since, and you've accepted the fact that you were fooled. It took a lot of tears and Pansy's support, but you did it. You got over him rather quickly, probably because of the horrible betrayal, and as you did, your sadness turned to anger. You continued the relationship, acting as if nothing had happened, and now you had a revenge plan. Everything had been planned by you and Pansy, your best friend. She had been furious when you told her what you'd heard, and was about to go punch Theo's face but you stopped her. There were better ways to make a guy suffer than to break their nose. Public humiliation, for example.

In order for the vengeance plan to work, you needed to get a lot of people to see. That required some kind of event that had no teachers present, and what would be a better situation than a party?
So, you, Pansy and a few other Slytherin girls planned one. All houses were invited. Even without your revenge it'd be fun in general. Win - win.

It was the night before the party, and you were trying to sleep. You were in Pansy's bed, like almost every night after you found out. You hugged a pillow, your back turned to Pansy, who was almost asleep already.
"Pansy?" You whispered, not wanting to wake her up in case she was sleeping.
"Mhm?" She mumbled.
"Do you think this is a good idea after all?" You squeezed the pillow tighter.
"Why wouldn't it? He was the one in the wrong, Y/n. He hurt you, now he just gets a taste of his own medicine," Pansy said in a sleepy voice, opening her eyes and snuggled closer to you. She put her arm around you, and hugged you from behind. "Why are you worrying about it now?"
You took her hand in yours, and sighed. "I don't know... Forget it, let's do this."
"That's the spirit," Pansy chuckled and closed her eyes again. "Sleep now."
"Yeah... Good night Pans'."
"Good night Y/N."

You put on some lip gloss, finishing the look.
"Y/N, you look amazing!" Pansy squealed out while digging her wardrobe. "Where the fuck is my dress?"
"You left it in the bathroom yesterday, when you were trying it on," You giggled, and stood up. You had a dark blue shimmery dress on, and your black heels were just waiting for being put on. You had made sure your makeup was flawless, and honestly, you looked amazing, just like Pansy said.

It took about 40 minutes overall until you both were ready and staring at your reflections in the mirror.
"We're fucking hot," Pansy smirked and grabbed her bag. "You ready to go?"
"Yeah," you muttered and followed her, feeling yourself getting more nervous after each step.
The party was already full of people as you stepped into the common room. You searched the room quickly with your eyes, trying to spot Theo somewhere. You didn't see him immediately, but as you made your way further into the room -squeezing Pansy's hand like your life depended on it- you saw him sitting on the couch with a couple of his friends.
Asshole.
Your next mission would be finding the other person you'd need for your plan to work. Cedric Diggory.
You had been friends with him since the first year, and when you'd asked him a favor he immediately agreed. There had never been anything romantic between you two, but now you'd have to fake it like there was.
Apparently he spotted you first, because you felt a hand tap your shoulder, making you turn around. You tilted your head slightly, seeing a tipsy Cedric standing in front of you. His cheeks were slightly red from the alcohol, and he looked happy.
"So, when are we-" he started but you cut him off.
"We have to make sure Theo is watching," You said, having to raise your voice slightly for Cedric to hear you over the loud music.
"That'll be easy," He said and grabbed your hand before dragging you into the middle of the room. People were pushing you from all directions, but Cedric pushed them away just as hard. When he finally stopped, he glanced at Theo who was already watching. Glaring. Angrily.

And now the best part of the plan.
You raised your hands and placed them on Cedric's chest as he cupped your face in his hands. You looked up at him as he lowered his head and whispered in your ear, "Theo's looking pissed already."
You giggled at his words, and glanced towards the couch he was sitting on. That's right, he was sitting there, because right now he was walking towards you two looking angry as-
You took it as your chance, and pressed your lips softly on Cedric's. It was a soft, meaningless kiss, but you still felt butterflies in your stomach. Until you were harshly pulled back by your waist.
"What. The. Actual. Fuck," Theo growled, and looked like he was going to punch Cedric.
"What do you mean, Theo?" You smiled innocently.
"What do I mean? Are you fucking serious right now?" Theo snarled and spun you around so that you were facing him.
"Is there a problem? I don't understand?" You said, pretending to be dumb. You never actually agreed that you were in a relationship, it just happened, so now's the time to take advantage of that.
"You're my fucking girlfriend and you're kissing this Blondie here!" He raged, and took a threatening step towards Cedric who was already smirking.
"I'm your girlfriend?" You said flatly. "I don't remember agreeing to that, baby."
"What the fuck are you talking about? We've been together for fucking months Y/n," Theo said, looking like he was about to explode. People around you had already quieted down, and were all staring at you.
"Okay, let's just calm down. I think there's been a misunderstanding," You said calmly, still smiling. "We were never together, Nott. I mean, yeah, the sex was good, but other than that..."
He stared at you, not saying a thing. People around you were snorting, and you just smiled innocently.
"I don't really need anything serious right now, I just wanted to have a good time. I thought we were clear on that," You continued.
Theo said nothing, and stormed out of the room, throwing his drink on the floor. People burst out laughing, and Pansy came next to you giggling. "You two looked like fucking lovebirds, I love it!"
You looked at Cedric who was chuckling himself, and smiled at him. "Thanks Ced'."
"No problem, friend," He smiled and walked back to his friends from Hufflepuff.

You knew Theo wasn't going to let this end here, and that Cedric might have a fight coming. Till that happens, you'd ignore Theo completely.

Dickhead.
