4 - Stormie's Health
I feel like we know so little about Stormie's health and it bugs me because I'm pretty sure Rydel was going to do a video about it when we first found out about it and she never did.
I believe she found out she had stage 3 uterine cancer on April 2, 2020. It's been about 4 years now, and even though she's had surgery, I still don't think she has recovered because Rydel talked about bringing her to get more cancer treatments when they were at their cabin around February.
From their go fund me, it seemed like they were trying holistic types of treatment, and the whole reason for the go fund me was because their insurance didn't cover it. I keep wondering why they made a go fund me when their kids are famous and could help them pay for it. Also, their goal for the go fund me was like $100,000 and I think they only raised like $9,000.
I'm not saying holistic treatments are bad. In fact, I know people who have done a combination of chemo and holistic treatment for cancer. But I just hope they're getting advice from a real doctor and not just taking health advice from Riker, which is what I'm worried is going on.
I'd seen a few tiktoks from people who have cancer and are doing holistic treatments, and a lot of them take different vitamins/supplements and fast. And I remember Rydel saying in one of her recent videos that her and her mom were fasting together, which is what made me wonder if she's fasting because Riker suggested it could help starve the cancer cells. I know Riker's very into health and supplements and all that, but cancer is serious, and I hope he's not just googling stuff and texting his mom random suggestions he found on google because he's not a doctor.
The good thing is that I feel like Stormie's health seems to have stabilized. But I'm worried that if she hasn't gotten better from cancer and is still getting treatments for it, overtime, the treatments might not be effective anymore and I'm worried all of a sudden her health will just get really bad. And what if that happens while everyone is on tour? Would they come home early/cancel?
Sometimes I wonder about what would happen if her health ended up getting so bad from her cancer that she died. She's basically Rydel's kids' second parent at this point, and Rydel's biggest helper.
Capron basically lives in Texas at this point and only visits California every so often. Would he move back to California to help Rydel take care of her kids if her mom's health got really bad or if she died?
I'm genuinely worried about Rydel and Capron's relationship. I just feel like Rydel barely pays attention to him now that she has kids. Literally compared to how she acted when they were dating/first married, it's so different now. It literally seems like she doesn't care about him anymore because now she has what she's always wanted, kids.
I also don't like how she won't go visit him in Texas or take her kids to visit him in Texas. She literally missed his birthday to take a trip to NYC with Savannah to go see her brothers play a show. And left her kids with Stormie. If she can take a trip to NYC to see her brothers, she can take a trip to Texas to visit her husband. There's no excuse.
I know she might've grown up with Mark being gone a lot for work, but Capron doesn't have to be gone as much, and Rydel could go visit him too. It's like she doesn't care about him anymore now that she has kids. She could go visit him in Texas and film travel videos. It's not like visiting him in Texas would be an issue since she doesn't have a job. In fact, it would give her content to post. She could do packing videos, travel vlogs, surprising her husband videos, etc. Why is she so against visiting him in Texas?
I'm also wondering if she's pregnant again yet. She's going to need to hurry if she wants to be able to have 4 under 4.
