Chapter 4: False Loving (Double Dipper)

Y/n's pov:
Dipper: Oh, no, Mabel, I don't feel so good. I... *makes throw up noises and laughs as he sprays silly string*
I was standing in the doorway and laughed as I saw dipper and Mabel joke around with eachother, Dipper was so cute when he laughed.
Mabel: Oh! Grunkle Stan! What did you feed us?
They both started to spray silly string and make barfing noises while laughing when I had a mild but still fun idea. I got a can of silly string and started to run towards them.
Mabel: Barfing. *laughs*
You: Guys, guys, stop!
I faked catching my breathe to make it look more believable.
You:Something terrible just happened!
I then sprayed silly string on them and we all burst out laughing.
Mabel: Comedy gold!
Stan walked over and started to take the silly string away.
Stan: All right, all right. Party supplies are now off-limits.
Soos: Mr. Pines, whose birthday is it, again?
Stan glanced at me. It was my birthday, but I didn't like to be reminded of it since it feels like a reminder of how it's my fault my mom died. The only reason Stan knew was because my birthdate was on the papers that he signed to take me in. Luckily Stan is a good liar.
Stan: Nobody's. Thought this party might be a good way to get kids to spend money at the Shack!
Wendy: Nice!
I forced a smile. Stan saw that I was starting to get upset so he made an interesting and funny comment.
Stan: The young people of this town want fun? I'll smother them with fun!
You: Maybe comments like that are why kids don't come to the Mystery Shack. *laughs*
I said while walking over to dipper and Mabel who were pouring themselves some soda.
Stan: Hey, hey! How's about you two make yourself useful and copy these fliers? And y/n cmon I need your help to set something up.
Mabel: Oh, boy! A trip to the copier store!
Soos: Calendars, mugs, t-shirts and more! They got it all at the copier store! That's not their slogan. I just really feel that way about the copier store.
Stan: Save the trouble. You know the old copier in my office? I finally fixed the old girl up. Good as new!
Dipper and Mabel groaned before going to the copier.
Then Stan pulled me outside.
Stan: Hey kid, I know you don't like your birthday but here.
He handed me a medium sized present. I smiled at him and he smiled back.
Stan: And if you want to go party instead of work, it is your birthday after all. Feel free to come and go as you wish.
You: Thank you Stan!
Stan: No problem kid.
Stan went to set up some more and I put the present on my bed. I was going to open it later tonight on the roof.
