Jed limped down the street, his shirt soaked in blood from the beating he just received. His vision blurred and people just walked passed him. Not once person bat an eye at Jeds' appearance and just continued to go on with their daily lives; seemingly not caring if he was almost beaten to death. Jed continued walking until he reached a two-story house made of brick and thick windows. Stepping inside, he left a trail of blood in the house. Attempting to ignore the agonizing pain of just merely breathing, he made his way into the kitchen. He saw his wife, who was 5'6 with long blonde hair, dark jeans, and a white shirt covered by a flannel, "Hey Linda, how's it going?" She turned to him and immediately gasped, before running into another room and bringing out a huge duffel bag full of medical supplies. She started barking orders, which he immediately followed, "Sit down. This'll take a while". He could see that she was concerned and was rapidly moving to attend to all his injuries. He held her hand before she started pouring alcohol on his back, making him groan loudly in pain. She attempted to distract him with small talk,
"They really did it this time huh"? She stated silently.
He nodded, "Yeah, brought a kid with me, he was a good kid. But they immediately saw him as a threat, so they took him. I feel so bad. I started to like the kid; you know. I felt like I could trust him".
She nodded, starting to stitch up the gashes, "A lot has changed since Wells took over the town from you, the people have changed, a lot of people like her but most of the people still view you as the leader".
Jed nodded and asked, "Where's Emily?"
Linda looked up and rolled her eyes, "She's still up there listening to those albums of hers."
He chuckled, "Fall Out boy?"
She nodded, hugging him slightly, "Can you please stay?"
Jed nodded and hugged her back slightly, ignoring the sharp pain from doing so.
Tyler frowned at Wells while thinking to himself, "Though it would be humorous if I weren't in this situation, I slept with this woman's daughter and nearly got her daughter killed by a gang of bikers who weren't the biggest fans of my father" Tyler couldn't muster the strength to stand up, the two guards that had dragged him in here had pistols pointed at both sides of his head. Wells suddenly decided to speak up,
"Hope my men are treating you well?"
Tyler spit out some blood before looking up and smirking, "Almost as good as I treated your daughter." Her face switched from humor to rage like a light switch.
"You little piece of shit, you see where you are? I could have you killed with a snap of my fingers, is that really what you want?" She asked with a suddenly even grin before continuing,
"I just saved you from dying, show a little appreciation." She sneered, but Tyler was too busy looking at the knife strapped to the guard on the left ankle.
Tyler attempted to sit more straight up, ignoring the souring pain that went through his body,
"Enjoy it while you can, cause' when I get out of here, I'm coming to kill you second."
Wells laughed before asking, "Why second?"
"Cause I'm killing that bitch Nate first." Tyler saw the key to the cells on the guards' belt.
Suddenly, Tyler smashed the elbow into the guard on the left kneecap, causing the guard to crouch down in pain. In a quick motion, Tyler grabbed the key, and the knife; quickly hiding it. The guard on the right suddenly hit Tyler in the back of the head with his gun and Tyler blacked out.
