"Come on, we're gonna be late!" Mary Cooper shouted to her children, as she folded up paper bags for the kids' lunches. Missy was practically shoving cereal into her mouth, while Sheldon was still taking his sweet time. "Sheldon, if you make us late, no radio shack for a week." Mary exclaimed, now putting up clean plates fresh from the dishwasher into the cabinets. "But then I'll increase my chances of choking!" Sheldon turned around to face her, as he bickered to his mother, his spoon still in hand. Mary paused as she turned, giving Sheldon that look. Sheldon turned back around nervously, setting his spoon back down into his bowl. Meeting eyes with Missy, who was covering her mouth to muffle her snickers, he grumbled, continuing to take spoonfuls of cereal and chew, until he finally finished his cereal. With a swift move of her hand, Mary took up both of the twins bowls, stacking them on top of each other as she began putting them neatly into the dish washer. She walked past the dining room, before she stood in front of the front door, waiting for the twins. "Alright, let's get moving," Mary said, opening the front door for the two as Missy swung her backpack over her shoulder. "Wait, I need to brush my teeth." Sheldon said, walking towards the bathroom. Missy groaned, turning her head his way slowly. "Sheldon, we don't have time for that!" She yelled. But, Sheldon being Sheldon, ignored her, opening the bathroom door as the sound of running water soon echoed through the house. "Oh dear Lord," Mary angrily muttered, pressing her fingers against her forehead.
"Missy, let's go, we'll just sit in the car." Mary said, taking Missy's hand and walking past the open door. "Don't hold my hand in public," Missy hissed, whipping her hand away from her mother's grasp. Mary sighed, before she pulled the driver's side door open, plopping into the seat as she sat her things down into the passenger seat aggressively.
Sheldon walked out of the bathroom after a few minutes, as his eyebrows narrowed in confusion, seeing the sight of the empty house. "Where did they go?" He questioned, before walking and standing in front of the door and sighing irritably. "It's like they don't even enjoy the cleanliness of dental hygiene, who doesn't like that?" He muttered to himself, before shutting the door behind him as he walked down the driveway and towards the car. Finally opening the car door, he sat in his seat next to his sister, who was staring out of the window. Sheldon on the other hand was smiling happily as he was adjusting his seat belt around him. As soon as he finished, Mary didn't hesitate to press down on the gas.
"Ugh, I wish you would've taken longer. I don't wanna be here." Missy complained, quickly getting out of the car and walking towards the school entrance. Sheldon raised a brow, following behind the girl. "What? Why?" Sheldon asked nonchalantly. "'Cause, nobody likes school. Except for weirdos like you." Missy said, before she halted, noticing someone. "Hey, whose that?" Missy pointed to a girl that was laughing with some other people across the pavement. Missy's brow raised. "She's really pretty," Missy complimented, resting her hand back down on her hip. "How should I know? I'm the least popular in this whole school, besides the people who pick on me because they're intimidated by my intelligence." Sheldon proudly said, that smug smirk on his face as he thought of the last part. Missy rolled her eyes, before deciding to just not respond. "OK, well, I'm gonna go talk to her." Missy began to walk towards her, before Sheldon tapped her shoulder. She turned around, an irritated look on her face as she crossed her arms. "Just a word of advice, I would suggest that you don't make any grammatical errors." Sheldon said, raising his index finger with his eyes closed, but, when he opened them, Missy was already over there, striking up a conversation with the girl.
"Hey, I just wanted to tell you, you're really pretty," Missy said, a friendly smile on her face. The girl turned her head, her (H/C) hair flowing behind her. Her (E/C) twinkled as she heard Missy's kind words. "Awe, really? That's so sweet, thank you," She responded, a grin stretching across her face. Missy's smile never left as they chatted about their similar traits, Missy was enchanted to finally meet someone that met her characteristics."Anyway, what's your name?" Missy questioned, raising a brow. "Oh, my name's (Y/N). You?" (Y/N) smiled, putting out her right hand for Missy to shake. Her array of various bracelets caught Missy's eye, before her eyes widened. "Woah, a pretty name and a pretty face? You're cool, I like you," Missy shook her hand proudly, as (Y/N) blushed slightly. "Thank you." She smiled again, eyeing her watch. "Oh, yeah, my name's Missy." Missy said confidently, letting go of the girl's hand and placing it into her pink coat pocket. "Cool," (Y/N) replied, before she checked her watch. "Shit, I need to get to class." She said, re-adjusting her strap on her backpack as she began to walk away. Missy's jaw dropped, admiring her as she walked away. "She cusses, too? And has good style? OK, she's my new best friend."
"So, who was it?" Sheldon asked as he followed Missy in the loud hallways, his curiousness weirdly unfamiliar. "OK, so, her name's (Y/N), she's 15, she has the best style, she cusses, and she's my new best friend." Missy proudly said, unpacking her things into her locker as Sheldon stood beside her, utter confusion on his face. "Why would you desire to be friends with someone who is clearly a bad influence?" Sheldon questioned, a slight sharpness to his voice. "'Cause, she's cool? And, also, what are you? Mom?" Missy, annoyed, asked sarcastically. "Well, actually, instead of the phrase, 'what are you?', it should, grammatically speaking, be 'who are you?'." Sheldon said, flinching as Missy slammed her locker door shut. "Sheldon, if you don't shut up right now, I swear I will kick you in the shin." Missy snapped, her eyes wide and bold as she spoke. Sheldon could almost see the sharp edge to her voice, a lot stronger than his. Without a word, Sheldon left, walking towards his class.
"Ow! My bad," A girl's voice said as Sheldon bumped into someone. He had his eyes on his watch the whole time, and the busy halls of people swarming around him wasn't a good combination. "It's OK, I suppose." Sheldon said, before he locked eyes with her. He was in awe, the way her pretty (E/C) eyes glistened against the slight visible sun that shined through the blinds of the school's windows. "Are you perhaps the girl from earlier? The one that Missy spoke to?" Sheldon asked, a sudden glint in his eye as he was finally talking to her. "Missy? Yeah, I am. And, who are you?" The girl asked, raising a suspicious brow. "Oh, my name is Sheldon Cooper. I'm Missy's brother. And I'm smarter." Sheldon implied, before reaching into his pocket and grabbing a... mitten? He slipped the colourful mitten carefully onto his hand, holding it out for the girl to shake. She looked confused at first, but, then she accepted it. "My name's (Y/N)," She smiled, her hand meeting the soft material of his mitten. "I know." He said, his monotone voice deep, but still kind of friendly? (Y/N)'s eyes narrowed, her brows furrowed, and her lips slightly parted as she tilted her head at his response. "Uh, OK.." She said slowly, taken aback. (Y/N) caught herself in the act of staring deep into his blue eyes, and his pretty hair. Just the way it shined and was combed through carefully was magic to her. (Y/N) looked down slowly, now noticing that her and Sheldon's hands had been stuck together for too long. She pulled her hand away, as Sheldon's face looked slightly disappointed at the loss of contact. "Well, I gotta get to class now. Nice meeting you, Sheldon." (Y/N) attempted a smile. "Not really," Sheldon nonchalantly said, trying to hide the fact that he was, surprisingly, content. "Alright then, bye!" The girl said, confusion sinking into her. "How are they even related?" (Y/N) said to herself, walking away to her class.
Sheldon stood there, astonished. "Oh dear, she is, I suppose, really pretty."
