Sheldon sat there, still confused.

As Missy and (Y/N) continued to snicker, a door hitting against the wall of the office echoed noticeably throughout the room. The three whipped their heads toward the sound, only to reveal Mary, Missy and Sheldon's mom. Mary used her hand to motion the twins up to her. (Y/N) looked down at Mary's hands, noticing the two brown paper bags that she held. Missy stood up, as Sheldon was already over there. Missy began walking, and (Y/N) frowned at the sudden loss of contact between her and Sheldon, glancing down at the arm rests. She leaned back into her chair, sighing as her arm laid onto her lap. She began to feel slightly uncomfortable with her in the middle of two empty seats.

"Missy, is that a friend of yours?" Mary questioned Missy as she handed her the paper bag from her hand. Missy groaned, rolling her head back in frustration as she yanked the bag from her mother's grasp. "Yes, mom. Why?" Missy returned a question, while Sheldon just stared blankly at the two. Mary furrowed her brows slightly at Missy's outburst. "I was just asking. Do you want me to invite her over for dinner?" Mary suggested, raising her left brow. Missy looked back at (Y/N), who was fidgeting with her fingers as she sat alone. Missy eagerly nodded, a wide grin on her face. "Sheldon?" Mary turned her head the boy's way for an answer. Sheldon shook his head out of his thoughts as he looked at his mom. "Yes?" He asked. Mary's brows scrunched in confusion, until she shrugged it off as the thought he was probably just thinking about science. "Are you OK with (Y/N) coming over for dinner tonight?" Mary smirked. Missy's eyes widened, her eyebrows narrowing at her mother. "No, don't ask him! He'll just say n-" Missy said, before she was suddenly cut off by Sheldon. "Yes." Sheldon nodded, confirming his answer. Missy looked surprised, as did her mother. But they weren't complaining. Mary nodded, turning her attention back to Missy. "Well, go tell her." Mary said, motioning at (Y/N). Missy nodded, turning around and walking towards her.

(Y/N) glanced at Sheldon's previous spot as she felt a presence in the seat. She smiled as she met eyes with Missy, a grin already on her face. "Hey, my mom wanted me to ask you if you wanted to come over for dinner tonight." Missy said, her grin fading into a soft smile. (Y/N) could tell she was eager to have a friend over, as Missy was pretty much nose-to-nose with her. (Y/N) didn't hesitate before grinning. "Yeah! That sounds fun," She gleefully replied. Missy grinned again, before grabbing (Y/N)'s hand and dragging her towards Sheldon and Mary, interrupting their small talk. "She said yes!" Missy smiled at her mother. Mary sweetly smiled at (Y/N) before nodding. "Great! And what's your name, sweetie?" Mary's friendly smile mocked (Y/N) as she attempted a smile herself, until it just came out as an awkward one. "Oh, my name's (Y/N). It's nice to meet you, Mrs..." (Y/N) realized that she hadn't even learned her new friend's last name, not that it really mattered anyway. Until now. But she still stood there, shaking Mary's lingering hand. Her floral perfume was almost too much to handle. Mary let go of her hand, smiling again. "Oh, sweetie, it's Cooper. Well, you three get back to class, OK? (Y/N), does six sound good?" Mary asked, halfway out the office doorway. (Y/N) nodded, smiling. They both turned away from each other, the floral perfume still looming over (Y/N).

The three walked to class, as they all had separate classes. (Y/N) sighed as she stood next to the entrance of her classroom, Missy and Sheldon beside her. "Bye, guys. See y'all at lunch." (Y/N) softly smiled, before she turned away and walked into her class.  Missy turned Sheldon's way as the classroom door shut. Sheldon flinched, before facing Missy. "What?" He asked her. Missy stared blankly at him, before smirking. "You like her, don't you?" Sheldon's face fell into pure shock and confusion, wondering how his own sister could put him on the spot like that. Missy seemed un-amused. "Oh, come on! I saw the way you looked at her!" Missy complained at Sheldon's bad correspondence. "I am perplexed." Sheldon responded nonchalantly. Missy sighed, glancing back at (Y/N)'s classroom. Shaking her head in annoyance, Missy turned away to go to class. Sheldon watched her as she walked away, her head down.

"Am I experiencing Dopamine plus Serotonin plus Oxytocin?" Sheldon questioned himself. "What?" A familiar girl's voice asked. Sheldon turned his head, only to see (Y/N) walking out of her classroom. Sheldon blushed intensely, eyeing anything other than the girl standing in front of him. "Uh, nothing," He anxiously stammered. Just the sight of her made him go crazy. (Y/N) raised a brow, before shrugging to herself. "Anyways, why are you out of class?" Sheldon questioned, attempting to change the subject. (Y/N) looked around the halls, beginning to walk forward. "What are you, a hall monitor? And, better question, why are you out of class?" (Y/N) returned his question, poking him in the chest. Usually Sheldon would never let anyone touch him with out washed and sanitized hands, but (Y/N) made him feel different about it. With her, it was OK. "Grammatically speaking, it wouldn't be said, 'what are you', it would be said, 'who are you'. And-" Sheldon's eyes widened as he realized he wasn't in class.  (Y/N) rolled her eyes at his answer, shoving her hands in her coat pockets, a chuckle escaping her lips. But Sheldon kept walking. Then he thought to himself, was he actually gonna skip class with this girl he met only this morning? Yes, yes he was without thinking. "This is not a humorous matter," Sheldon stated, turning his head (Y/N)'s way. She giggled again at his response. "Oh please, Sheldon Cooper skipping class? Hilarious." She smirked at him. Sheldon scrunched his brows. "How do you know me this well when we met this morning?" He asked, puzzled. (Y/N) looked at him, that same smug smirk plastered on her face. "Missy." She grinned. Sheldon rolled his eyes. "Of course," He uttered to himself. "But, why are you skipping class with me?" (Y/N) asked him, raising a brow as she stared down at her feet that paced down the hallways, a pair of penny loafers beside her. Sheldon stared at the direction in which he was walking, asking himself the same question.

"I'm..." He muttered. "Not sure." He said finally, glancing at the girl walking next to him, her (H/C) hair covering her face. But, for some reason, Sheldon was eager to see her face. Without hesitation, Sheldon's hand trailed up from beside him, touching (Y/N)'s soft, silk-like hair with ease. His fingers swiveled through it, her hair falling into the dips of his fingers. He'd brushed it behind her ear, a slight, barely-noticeable smile on his face as he did so. The hair stayed tucked behind her ear, and he was proud of it. Until he realized what he did just now.
