The wind

I love the feeling of wind against my skin
when the temperature is just cool enough,
when I'm standing outside or the air comes through the car window.
The perfect pressure caressing my face,
my hands making invisible waves of sensation.
Eyes closing in pleasure at its touch,
soaking in as much of it as I can get
as it slowly cools my skin.
Never wanting it to end as it's blowing away every thought from my mind,
and I savor the slightly tingly feeling it leaves behind.
One of the best things I've found in the world, elevated with good music underneath the roar of the air in my ears.
True, blissful peace.
