Liana's POV
It's evening!! Finally I can rest in peace now!! I rested my body completely in the warmth of the bed. My thoughts quivering around. I closed my eyes to feel peace but guess it's not the time.
I felt the cold metal upon my skin, when I was about to turn it pierced through my skin around my neck. I hissed a little still keeping my cool. "Who are you?" The person asked, the voice was very feminine.
I sighed before releasing my power to her sword which rose up automatically. I then sat on the bed looking at her. She was young, maybe a year older or younger.
"I'm a sorcerer" I said making her scoff, well I don't know if this is the correct way to explain. I don't wanna say the stuffs I'm doing here. "A sorcerer?" I nodded. "Then let's see who among us are better"
I raised a brow she put her sword down and went outside. I shrugged off my thoughts before laying on the bed again. "Hey!! Come out!!" She screamed. I looked up to see her standing on my side.
"Listen, I'm not here for any competition, I came here just yesterday so get your ass out" I told her with my icy cold expression. She laughed and looked at me, eyeing me up and down reading my body language.
"I'm Ava Brown" she said glaring at me, what am I supposed to do? I just nodded while she scoffed. I get it now. "I'm Liana Metalon" I know what would be her reaction. Just as I thought her eyes widened but soon she shrugged off.
"So, you are from the same clan as Master Grace Metalon?" I wanted to laugh at her comment, I nodded but didn't say anything, I know this feeling. Whenever I say that Grace Metalon is my mother people start to treat me with sympathy which I don't like.
Though my mother is popular and strong I want to create a name for myself. I don't want to be called as the daughter of Grace Metalon but to create my own name which would make them say that my mother is Grace Metalon.
"Well, remember, Master Grace is one among the 10 legends of the sky of the 6th generation, as a sorcerer who is aiming to become one among them, you should train hard, and also don't think I would let you go that easily." I frowned at her.
"I will be your rival, I will make Master Grace proud. She once insisted me on becoming one." A small smile appeared on my lips. "So, have you spoke with her!?" She nodded.
"Well, yeah, I did. I grew up here and whenever she visits us, she used to talk about a lot of things which she experienced in her life. She used to talk about her daughter everytime and that she consider me as her daughter too"
I chuckled making her glare at me. "What made her say that?" I asked as she crossed her hands upto her chest and stared at me. "Well what do you know about her!? She said that because it reminds her of her own daughter" she smirked at me.
Well I'm happy though, for some reason she really gives off the same energy as me, the only difference was, I changed myself while she didn't, she reminds me of my past self where I used be a sunshine.
I smiled at her. "I envy you, you must be proud" she shook her head. "No, I'm not just proud, I just feel greatful that's it". I hummed and stood up. "How about going for a walk?" I asked her while she scoffed.
"Asking your rival for a walk?" "I didn't consider to be your rival" I started walking but I chuckled seeing her following me with a cold face. "Why?" She asked after a moment of silence.
"I don't know if you are worth it" I smiled, it's nice to be like this, a new change in my personality, thanks to my mom, she took over the darkness which engulfed me and spreaded light.
