A Chance With Citrus

Chapter 2: In The Alleyway

Its almost been a week yet y/n keeps getting distracted, at work, at home, Citrus is all y/n could think of, so they decided to try and find Citrus from the Outer Ring and even reaching Upper Ring, yet y/n still couldnt find him. Y/n gave up and decided to take a walk home. (they live in Middle Ring)

*5 hours later*

Its getting kind of late, 10:00pm to be exact, y/n's legs are tired after walking endlessly till they got home.

*30 minutes later*

While walking through a dark alleyway, y/n heard some weird noises behind the garbage cans, due to curiosity, y/n decided to go check the strange noises.

Behind the garbage cans was a very familiar silhouette, y/n tried to make out the figure, but before they could, they saw the person holding a body, it seems that the person the figure is holding has passed out, y/n wanted to help the person out but before they could get any closer, the silhouette turned around and reveald their glowy crimson eyes y/n finally identified the person as... "Citrus?!", as y/n finally screamed out their name, Citrus hastely escaped from the scene...

*y/n finally arrived home.*

After seeing Citrus with those eyes, fur, and even a tail, y/n felt a bit relieved they saw him once more, but not in a way that Citrus acted with animalistic behavior, y/n also remembers that they saw blue smoke coming out of the passed out persons mouth. Y/n decided to watch some prerecorded news, and the first thing they mention on the news is, " 6 bodies found presumably dead, or passed out..? the experts havent identified the bodies whether or not theyre dead, but we will update all of you as soon they say something.". Y/n found out the body they saw earlier was in the same state of the ones on the news, so they decided that the first thing tomorrow is to report what they saw to the local police.
