Chapter 4: Invited to a "date"...?

"So you've heard about the new restaurant downtown? We should try visiting it sometime!". Y/n heard one of their colleagues talking to Citrus in the storage room, for some reason, y/n got a bit jealous, since they've been crushing on Citrus for a long time now. Their colleague replied "Uh, I don't think I have time to go with you, maybe try asking y/n?".

"WHAT?!" you said to yourself loudly to where they can hear you from the storage room, when you realized they heard it, you backed away from the door and continued to do your job as normal, when they both Citrus and ______ came out of the room, Citrus walked to you, "So you've been listening to us huh?", you replied, "n-no... what do you mean??", Citrus looked at you awkwardly and then said "So that wasn't you who shouted earlier?" "It wasn't me, I swear!" You said. He still looks like he didnt believe you, "I've heard you have a crush on me... is that true?" You were surprised he knew but you decided to play it off by saying "What?! That's ridiculous!" Citrus the replied, "Huh, okay... so since you've been listening to me earlier, want to go to the restaurant I was talking about?" You knew this was your chance to make a move on him so you unhesitantly said "Yes!". "Woah that was pretty fast for an answer, alright then, lets go after work, sound good?". "Y-yeah... sounds good..."

As he walked his way back to his office, you couldnt help but scream in thrillness because this was gonna be considered as a "date". One of your colleagues went up to you, "So, you finally gonna make a move on him?" They said, you answered back "Well... maybe yes..". "Goodluck then, I hope you manage to make him yours tonight ;)" "What?! We aren't even dating yet but you're already suggesting me to do stuff like that??!!", you colleague face-palmed, then said "No dumbass, I mean I hope you guys start dating by the morning, not fuck him!" "Oh..." you said to yourself embarrassingly...
