Chapter 75

My heart shattered, my throat went dry .. the words he uttered hit me too deep

"LEAVE HIM"

how easy it is for a person to order anything as long as they're in command. He was the father of the man I love. The man who gave me his world, left his behind, gave up on everything to be with me.. with us.. how was suppose to leave him.. again... time is wicked.. and I'm being punished for the times I made the father of my child suffer.
Hearing these words from JIMIN's father.. I almost forgot how selfish parents could be, how fucking selfish.
I thought my father was cruel, Jimin's just as much.
I looked into his eyes while he sat cross legged, staring into my eyes which were shedding tears.
I couldn't see an ounce of remorse or pity in his eyes. He was evil.

"He won't let me go"

"Well it's not your first time leaving him, am I right?" He smirked and I shut my eyes ..

"He has a daughter! I cannot take his child away from him..... again" I whispered

"Well who asked you to take your daughter along? She's a Park.. she's not gonna live a lowlife like you" he said and my eyes went wide

"Sir Park what are you saying!" Mr. Lim's rage filled voice echoed but one glare from the elder and he looked down on the ground.

"No one asked you to put in your thoughts Lim! You're just a slave! Do what you're told to!" He said and I just cried standing.

"I can't leave my daughter.. no" I replied

"Well then I can't give the company back. As simple. He's been ripped off his tag and power now. I don't think he's of any use to you now? Is he? That's why you ain't ready to leave his property nor his side if he gets it all back"

"What are you saying? Are you really a father? No! You're not a father! You're a business man who's always treated his child like a thing. Did you even care how he was, what he's been doing, how happy he was to know about his daughter? How much love he has inside for people close to him? How much he values his family? NO! All you ever cared about was your prestige! Today you don't have your son! He hates you.. and I really hope this money is making up for his absence since it is all you've always wanted!"

I shouted
My cheeks now flooded with tears..
as I wiped my face with the sleeves of my dress

"You don't get to come here and teach me parenting! You can't even handle your own child. EITHER YOU LEAVE JIMIN AND YOUR DAUGHTER, OR YOU GO BACK TO THAT HUSBAND OF YOURS.. AND LET HIM LIVE IN MISERY"
He stood up
"And don't waste my time.. I'm done with you" he turned

"I will leave him.. B..but you have to promise me.. you'll give him everything. And .. and you'll not treat him like you've always done"

He stopped and turned around now smiling
"Well ofcourse, once he leaves you, he's the owner of everything I have, after all he's the only son I've got. He'd be untouchable. You don't have to worry about a thing." He said and I just nodded looking down.

The way towards the hotel was dreadful.
Mr. Lim hadn't uttered a word to me, he looked at me with so much hate and anger.

"L...Lim" I spoke wiping my tears while he was driving
"I do not have anything to do with you. Do not talk to me please. I respect you but the moment you agreed with that man.. You lost your position in my eyes. Kindly do not try to hold any conversation with me" he said and I just looked down at my lap.

Soon I entered into the hotel suite , it was afternoon..
and I found Jimin and Mari asleep together.
I walked towards them, caressing Mari's head placing a kiss over her temple, and then looking at Jimin.
He was so peaceful and beautiful like that. I caressed his hair and went towards the balcony.

It'd be tough to leave my love again, but this time atleast I'd know they'd be together.
