Jennie lies and looks at the closet door. She had already studied it down to the millimeter. Irene is sitting next to her on the bed and is silent. They haven't spoken for half an hour. The brown-haired girl periodically hears Irene and Seulgi whispering, but only a couple of phrases, after which they fall silent again. She also hears Irene typing on her phone sometimes, only momentarily distracted from thinking about what Jennie told her. Previously, Kim couldn't even think that she would share something very personal with someone, but now it seems so natural, as if she and Irene have been friends for many years, and telling her about what is happening with her is a common thing. That's really who has become really close to her this month. Jennie sometimes gets distracted from thinking about Rose and thinks about Irene. She also perceives Seulgi as a friend, but rather as a person who is always aware of what is happening, although not so close, but likes her so much that Jennie never once thought that she was superfluous.

Jennie knows that sooner or later Irene will talk. It's so strange that in their entire company of four, no one likes to talk about something personal. Jisoo didn't need time to comment on anything or give advice. She could talk about any topic, but she was so shallow that she didn't want to ask her advice about something very important. Maybe, deep down, Jennie just felt that Irene and Seulgi would take her words seriously, which is why it was so easy to share with them now. Because she knew that there would be no light slaps on the shoulder with the words: "Relax, it's not worth it, let's smoke instead." Maybe Jisoo would have said something different, but that would have been the point.

-I think she freaked out because she didn't want you to leave.- Irene finally says.

-She asked for it.- Jennie responds softly, but still thinks about what the brunette said.

Given that Rose always strives to do as planned, then one would expect her to get angry if things don't go according to plan. But she asked for it! Why ask, and then, when the request is fulfilled, get angry?

Jennie left without taking her things with her: she left just to avoid a quarrel, because Rose literally began to lose her temper, out of her own control. Jennie did it more for her: for some reason, she knew for sure that she would regret it. Yes, she left her a pill and went to her friends.

-We have to go to dinner soon.- Seulgi says.- Jennie, people don't always say what they think. She's a girl. She could have said that, expecting you to start protesting and reassuring her. Simply... I could do it too.

-Yes, me too.- Irene is not so confident.- But this is Rose. Who knows what's in her head. Just what else can you be mad at when you get what you ask for?

-Are you suggesting that I don't leave her?- Jennie finally looks away from the closet and turns around.

-It depends on what you want. I just imagined myself in her place. Actually, it's very disgusting to fall in love and realize that you're about to leave, and that's it. I could go to extremes. I do not know, but it could have been.- Irene looks at Seulgi, to which she nods, confirming her words.- But even if I wanted to distance myself, I could be thrown from one extreme to the other. I'm not sure I would have behaved the same way, but I'm trying to imagine. Did you tell her you were in love too?

-I told her before.- Jennie replies, straightening up on the bed and dangling her legs.

-Yes, yes, I remember. You told her that as a friend. We discussed this.

Jennie wants to protest, but Irene is right, they really have already discussed this. Since that moment, Jennie has already confessed her feelings in another form, and there certainly would not have thought that it was about friendship.
