" Home...I've missed this place.", you sighed as the plane touched down incheon airport in Seoul.
Switching on your phone you check the time , you noticed a few notifications pop up . Hyunjin * I'm at the airport, text me when you get here. Hurry up will you. I'm freezing" , "yeah, like I asked you to come " you thought to yourself, rolling your eyes.
You carelessly headed towards the airport exist with eyes glued to your screen scrolling through all the "good bye" and "welcome back" messages from all your friends and family . " I'm really doing this." You thought to your self ."starting life afresh for the second time." Anxiety began to consume you, you were returning to your old life but everything and everyone is different now. You couldn't help but feel like an alien in a world that was once yours.
The sudden buzzing in your hand took you out of your line of thought. "Hyunjin"
"Oh shoot , he must be worried about me" Bumping into a tall figure's chest, you quickly apologized without facing the being and proceeded to take the call "Hello?", "Y/N ?" , a voice called from behind at exactly the same time as the voice on the phone. Stopping you in an instant . " I guess I expected so much from you, thinking you'd recognize me immediately." He spoke as you turned to face him. " well, I didn't think you'd grow taller "you replied , sarcastically. He lightly chuckled pulling you into a tight warm hug . "Welcome back, Y/N" he whispered, with his head slightly resting on top of yours. It was nice.

Carrying your load, he lead you to his car . You took the passenger seat and he packed your luggage in the trunk of the car and got in after you. " I thought you'd have a driver with you?" You questioned staring at him as he put on his seatbelt. " Well.... I'm not working right now , so no and he only works with the company's vehicles" he responded , while taking a light blanket and wrapping around your knees then proceeding to drive.
" where exactly is your apartment?" He asked, you quickly took out your phone and turned it towards him . He stared at the screen for a second to look at the apartment address and faced the road. " oh I forgot to mention that the keys are at my parents house, since they booked the apartment for me they have the keys too" you said with a smile. He silently made a turn heading to your parents house .
You couldn't contain your excitement when you finally arrived. As soon as the car stopped you hopped out of the car and ran towards the entrance screaming "mommyyyyyyyy!!!!! I'm home!!!!" . Both your parents hurried out with huge smiles and tears in their eyes. Tears flowing from your face as soon as you hugged them. You hadn't seen your parent for 4 long years, you missed them so much , words could not explain the joy you felt being in their arms again.
Hyunjin who you had forgotten, walked calmly in your direction. He bowed and then hugged your parents when you let go of them. "Good evening, mom and dad" he said with a big smile on his face, " How have you been ? , How's work?" They began to engaged in a light conversation. You silently listened as they spoke, Hyunjin was really close to your family. He often went to check up on your parents when you were away. They loved him as much as they love their children.
"Let's have dinner before you leave " you're mum suggested. Dancing your way to the kitchen you helped your mum set the table as Hyunjin entertained your dad with light conversations. You sat next to your mum and you all began to eat. "Mmmm, how I missed this " you groaned stuffing one spoonful after another. While the others chuckled at your cuteness.
Dinner was over and you hugged your parents goodbye before heading into the car with Hyunjin. " wanna get some coffee or you wanna get some shut eye ?" He asked. " I think I'll leave the exploration for another day " You said .
The ride was silent and relaxing. Soon enough you reached your apartment building . You hurried out to get checked in as he took your luggage out. Meeting by the elevator, you quickly rushed in and went up. punching in the passcode you opened the door and let him in. Placing your luggage where you directed him to. " The place suits you ." He said , scanning his surroundings. " I think it's perfect too" you replied. "Well I guess I'll let you rest then." he said pulling you in for the hug. "Let me see you out." You interrupted.
Grubbing his hand you headed out of your apartment into the elevator. You teased each other and cracked jokes as it went down. Outside,You spoke for another 5 minutes, while sitting on his car as he stood in between your legs. Laughing at all the silly things you did as kids . " I think you should get some rest" he said after you let out a yawn. " I think so too" jumping off the car. He pulled you in for a hug and kissed your cheek. " Good night Y/N" he said , letting you out of his grip and getting into his car . You waved as the car drove away and headed back to get some rest.
