Axel's POV:

I finished eating and realized Jaden hasn't eaten yet, "What are you going to eat, Jaden?"

"Oh, uhh, I'm not hungry," he responded.

"Uh, you- you sure?" I ask doubtfully.

          "Yea, I'm sure," he promised.

"oh, alright. I'm finished," I say, placing my bowl in the dishwasher.

It's about nine o'clock, so I gather my belongings so I could drive to my own home. I really don't want to leave just yet though. I really like hanging out with Jaden. he's funny, calm, caring, not that smart though, but that doesn't matter. Sadly, I have to get home though, so I can get some sleep. Jaden walks me out to my car as we hold hands and I ask him a question I've been waiting my whole life to hear the answer to.

"So....do you- maybe- we could- or- oh what about...no- we could maybe umm-" Oh, great. I just screwed it up. I stuttered on every single word. Why did this have to happen now?

He looks over and raises his eyebrows in confusion. "What was that you were trying to say?" he asked sarcastically.

"I think you already know what I'm trying to say," I smile at him shyly.

"Mmm...no, nope, I've got no idea actually," he attempted to sound innocent, but I knew he lying.

"Would...you...Jaden Trix...Scott...go...on a...d- da- date?" I mumble slowly stuttering again.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you that well. Would you mind saying that again...maybe a bit louder this time?"

          "What if I say, 'no'?"

He smirks at me, "Then I guess I'll act as if you never said anything."

I glare at him in silence.

"I'm waiting for an answer," he wined eagerly.

"Would you, Jaden Trix Scott go on a date with me!" I shout so loud, the whole neighborhood probably could hear me.

"Oh...that's what you were trying to say. I had no idea that was what you wanted. Thank you for telling me so not obviously," he sarcastically replied.

I glare at him more, "Well, do you, or do you not? It's a simple yes or no question."

He smiles at me and then looks at the dark, navy blue, ocean painted sky. "Ah, yes. A very simple question. I mean, It's not like I'm being asked out on a date or anything," as he speaks, he has a posh accent.

I scoff as I roll my eyes, then I playfully punch his arm, "Just answer already! Please!" I try my best to have the same accent as he did, but fail immediately.

"Okay, fine. I accept your offer to take me out on a date"

"Finally! Thank you!" I peck him on the cheek as I unlock, and open the car door. "Adios, amigo!"

"Wait, about that date...what do you plan on doing? What do I wear? Is it casual? Is it formal? What's the weather going to be? Is it inside? Is it outside?" His words were gushing out like a waterfall.

          "What if-"

"Woah, woah. Chill dude, okay?" I only just realize I haven't planned what to do. Why haven't I thought of what to do yet? "I haven't really thought of what to do yet, honestly. Wear something casual but not too casual, I guess. I don't really know. I haven't put this much thought into it yet."
