Chapter 65-Pt.2

After returning home from supper, Lisa took another shower to get rid of the smell of barbecue.

Jennie spoke very little tonight, and Lisa worried that she had angered the other party. And because of her anxiety, she didn't write a single word for her book even though she planned to do so after returning to the room.

The two women next door were still hosting their respective live streams. However, the noise became more bearable after shutting the balcony door. In contrast, the sound of the hairdryer running as Lisa absentmindedly dried her hair was much noisier.

Suddenly, someone snatched the hairdryer out of Lisa's hand. When Lisa looked up and saw Jennie, she smiled and said, "That's fast of you."

"Mhm," Jennie lightly responded before using the hairdryer to dry her hair.

Neither of them spoke for a time, and an awkward atmosphere ensued.

When Jennie put down the hairdryer and gently combed her hair with her fingers, Lisa finally stopped hesitating and said, "I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for?" Jennie asked with a casual expression.

Biting her lower lip, Lisa said, "I shouldn't have run away when you were going to dance for me. It was incredibly rude of me to do so."

Jennie's lips curled slightly, barely forming a smile as she said, "It's fine. Actually, I lied. I don't know how to dance at all."

Then why did you start stripping... Lisa thought, though she dared not bring up this topic.

Then, Jennie continued, "If you mind it, I can go sleep with Jisoo tonight."

Lisa's heart thumped at Jennie's words. Then, she asked, "Why are you going to sleep with Jisoo?"

Jennie gently caressed Lisa's cheek with the back of her hand. Then, she said, "I worry that you dare not go to sleep with me beside you."

"Why would you think that? We've slept together several times already," Lisa said with a stunned look on her face.

Even though Jennie's voice and expression were calm, Lisa couldn't help but panic because of her words.

She's not getting angry or complaining. What's going on with her? Then, Lisa held onto Jennie's hand and hurriedly added, "I don't mind sleeping together. Such a large bed should fit the two of us without a problem. Also, this is a foreign place. I'm a little scared to sleep here all by myself..."

If Jennie went to look for Jisoo, Jisoo would definitely assume that the two of them had gotten into a fight. However, in reality, their relationship was very peaceful, so peaceful that Lisa felt that she had made a mistake. So, she could only hold onto Jennie's hand tightly and plead for forgiveness with pitiful eyes.

How could Jennie possibly resist the assault of such eyes? After letting out a heavy sigh, Jennie said, "Alright, then. I won't go."

Their neighbors still weren't done making noise, and neither of them felt sleepy, so they ended up having an aimless conversation on the bed.

"Jiyong says there's going to be a concert tomorrow afternoon. All of their company's streamers will be going on stage. Do you want to go watch it?"

"I haven't written a single word today, so I'm thinking of focusing on writing tomorrow."

"Do you want me to accompany you, then?"

"You go with them. Otherwise, this trip is going to go to waste," Lisa replied without thinking. Then, she smiled and continued, "Just bring back something good to eat for me."
