"You two must be happy," Jisoo solemnly said.

In response, Jennie wrapped an arm around Lisa's shoulders and said, "We will."

"That eases me." After leaving behind a bleak smile, Jisoo left.

The time they spent together was short, so Lisa still didn't fully understand Jisoo's character. Even the story about Jisoo's ex-girlfriend was something she had only heard from Jennie just now. Only today did Lisa realize that Jisoo had such a sad backstory.

Although Jisoo had left the apartment in an elegant manner, when Lisa thought back to Jisoo's drunken stupor before, she couldn't help but sigh ruefully. Then, she threw herself into Jennie's arms and asked, "Will she be alright?"

This time, Jennie couldn't give Lisa a definite answer.

That night, the couple didn't go out for dinner but ordered delivery instead. After finishing their meal, Jennie offered to clear out the trash and said, "Go ahead and start writing."

"I don't want to write right now."

"Lacking inspiration?"

"No." Holding down Jennie's hands, Lisa put on a stern expression and frankly asked, "When did you find out about my pen name?"

It was finally time to settle accounts.

Realizing Lisa's intentions, Jennie stopped tidying up the table. Then, she looked through her memories for a moment before saying, "Do you still remember that one time one of your documents got blown out of the window, and you came running to the entrance in a panic to search for it?"

To be precise, that document was a contract. Meanwhile, written on the contract was Lisa's pen name and the name of her new novel. It even recorded Lisa's identification number. Because of this, Lisa had panicked when the wind blew the contract out of the window. Moreover, that was the only time such an incident had happened, so how could Lisa possibly forget about it?

Widening her eyes, Lisa asked, "You already found out at that time???"

"Mhm."

"So, you were lying to me back then???" Lisa asked in disbelief.

Chuckling, Jennie said, "I didn't lie to you. That was just a coincidence."

"What coincidence?"

To explain this matter, Jennie would have to start by talking about Yeji recommending BL novels to her. Because of a typing error, Jennie had ended up finding one of Rosé's novels instead of Yeji's recommended BL novel. Meanwhile, after reading Rosé's novel, Jennie had followed Rosé's recommendation and read a novel written by an author called Fragrant Citrus. However, the novel was terribly written, so she casually gave the novel a point reduction. That, in turn, caused her to become besieged and insulted by a bunch of Fragrant Citrus's brain-dead fans.

"The first time I started reading web novels, I didn't know about things like point reductions and donations. I got cursed a bunch back then, so I went to give your novel a Deep-water out of spite. Initially, I was only thinking of venting my anger, but I never thought I would coincidentally come across that contract of yours."

After hearing Jennie's explanation, Lisa finally understood why "Passerby" had sent a Deep-water Torpedo to her novel back then for no reason. It turned out that there were so many details included in the process. She was so surprised by this revelation that she was at a loss for words.

Looking at Lisa's dazed expression, Jennie tapped a finger on the tip of her lover's nose and teasingly said, "You dummy. If you hadn't admitted to the fact that you were that contract's owner, I would never have suspected that you were 'I Love Malatang.' As for what happened afterward, I think you don't need me to tell you, right?"
