"You need to put Fido on a leash."
Quirking an eyebrow Jamari steps into the living room watching the eldest Salvatore pace back and forth irritation rolling off him in waves.
"I assume you are referring to a child of the moon."
Pausing his pace he eyes Jamari. "Very astute deduction woman king."
Rolling her eyes Jamari crosses her arms glancing to Stefan as he explains. "Mason Lockwood is in a relationship with Katherine and he stole the moonstone."
"How did he manage to steal the moonstone?"
Damon scoffs. "That's a good question, why don't you ask the Teen Titans?"
Elena frowns. "Damon."
Shushing her quietly Damon makes his way over to the immortal. "The adults are talking."
"Damon." Stefan says frowning deeply.
"Don't frown too deeply Stef, you're past the age where Mary Kay has products for you."
Shaking his head in amusement Alaric speaks. "For all we know Katherine could have conned Mason into getting the moonstone because he thinks it is going to undo his curse."
Raising an eyebrow Jamari stands. "The moonstone is for Niklaus and Niklaus only."
"I'm sorry?"
"Don't be sorry Professor Saltzman, it is a common misconception from centuries of misinformation being passed from legends and folktales."
Crossing his arms the older gentleman clears his throat. "And what do you propose the moonstone is actually for?"
"Niklaus, it is to break his curse placed upon him by his mother. His mother, a witch, an immortal legend has to be the first of our kind used the blood of the first known doppelgänger to bind his child of the moon heritage. His father was enraged by the affair of his mother which damned the child to be the first of his kind not bound to the moon or enslaved by the sun."
"I thought it was to make a supernatural being human?"
"No, there are rumors of a cure that can do such a thing. But, the moonstone will allow Niklaus to unlock his heritage and be the first of a kind."
