Sage told me that afternoon that Lily was busy and she wouldn't be able to hang out with me. I stayed in my room the whole afternoon because of that. I haven't seen Beau or Sage, maybe because they were also busy.
The busy days just keep coming, huh? Time has passed already; I wonder until when they will be busy. They might get even busier once they're in college. My brother will be graduating next week, and they will be performing at their after-party.
"Lily, I bought you a phone. You can also create your social accounts if you want to," Mom said, smiling sadly.
"Thanks, Mom! Don't worry, I won't do anything you wouldn't like," I replied, smiling back as Mom came near me and hugged me.
"What's going on here?" we all turned to look at my brother.
"Nothing, really. I was just giving your sister a phone," Mom explained.
"That's nice, Mom. Thank you! Is she allowed to make her own social accounts now?" my brother asked and mom just nods.
"That's good. I don't think na hahanapin niya pa din tayo. It's been years...", my brother trailed off.
"It's okay, kung gusto niyo siya makasama o makita..."
"No, Mommy. Don't worry about us. We know better," my brother cut off what Mom was about to say. I sighed.
Mom bid us goodnight and gave us some reminders before I headed straight to my room. I am kind of excited to create an account for myself. Lily has been talking about it a lot.
I opened the app and created an account. I uploaded a photo; it was the first photo I uploaded, showing the sand with my brother's favorite guitar on it. I took this photo last time when we went there to relax.
I followed my brother and checked his followings, but I didn't see Beau's account. Maybe he doesn't have one. But he has a phone, right? I'll just ask him for his account tomorrow.
I followed Lily, Sage, and my brother's bandmates. Lily's feed has a lot of photos, mostly of her. While browsing, someone messaged me. It was Sage.
"Is this you?"
"Kaetzel, huh?" I didn't reply yet because I saw the three dots, but it looks like he won't send it. He kept deleting it.
"Yes, Sage. Thanks for following me back!" I sent it. He replied promptly.
"No problem. I can see you tomorrow, right?" I didn't reply because we would see each other tomorrow anyway.
Gone are the days when I would always be with my brother or Beau. They are just so busy because graduation is near. I haven't seen Beau. I haven't told him yet that I made an account, and I am going to ask for his account.
I am always with Sage or Lily.
"What's wrong, Kae?" Sage asked, maybe he noticed that I was spacing out.
"You've been looking at Beau's house. Is there something wrong?" I just shook my head. "Nothing, really. I'm just curious since I haven't been with Beau and even my brother... are they really that busy?" Sage just shrugged.
"Maybe, they are graduating soon... remember?" I nodded. Sage and I stared at each other for a while before I decided to sketch again.
I feel like I want to sketch Beau.
"I think Beau will leave after graduation. That's why he's so busy," my brother opened up during dinner. I immediately looked up. He was looking at me. "Saan naman siya pupunta?" I asked. He just shrugged.
