Jungkook, a busy businessman with an overwhelming schedule, sat with champagne in hand, contemplating the scene he had just witnessed. He had fought and won a grueling battle, earning his older twin's appreciation. On the other side, his clumsy secretary, who seemed to stumble at every step, had spent the entire day here, inexplicably dressed in Jeongguk's clothes, which was again quite odd.

His eyes closed in frustration. It shouldn't bother him. It shouldn't matter that Jangfei was closer to Jeongguk, yet the captivating allure in her eyes, filled with a unique shine, was undeniable, she was just a secretary, his employee and its not even been a while they've met.

Caught up in the whirlwind of emotions, Jungkook found himself bewildered. He never cared, he never allowed himself to care, but why did this situation bother him so much now?

He threw the glass against the wall, releasing a growl. "Fuck them. I shouldn't care about them. I hate you, Jeongguk, and always will. I know why you're using Jangfei. Don't worry, I don't have any feelings for her and I never will," he muttered, trying to convince himself as much as anyone else. With a heavy sigh, he lay on the king-sized bed, closing his eyes and momentarily drifting off to sleep, seeking solace in the temporary escape from his conflicted thoughts.

On the other hand, Jeongguk, engrossed in his phone, didn't notice Jangfei's bored eyes wandering around the room instead of focusing on the Italian phrases he had given her to read and learn. She looked more like a mischievous student, her attention darting everywhere but the text in front of her.

Jeongguk, sensing her distraction, smirked without lifting his eyes from his phone. "Having fun sightseeing, baby girl ? But I don't entertain people who waste time." Jeonggukk drawled, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Startled, Jangfei snapped her attention back to him. "Uh, no, Mr. Jeon. Just, um, taking a break," she stammered, trying to cover her tracks.

Jeongguk finally looked up, his eyes gleaming with amusement with a hint if slight anger rising. "Taking a break from doing nothing, I see. Impressive."

Jangfei flushed, fiddling with the book in her hands. "It's just that these words are so...foreign."

"That's because they're Italian," Jeongguk said dryly. "The entire point is for you to learn something foreign."

She bit her lip, trying to suppress a grin. "But do I really need to know how to say 'I have a red umbrella' in Italian? When will that ever come in handy?"

Jeongguk leaned back, a predatory glint in his eyes. "Maybe when you need to run away from me in Italy, you'll find it useful. Though I doubt a red umbrella would hide you for long from this devil."

Jangfei's eyes widened, half in shock, half in amusement. "You're joking, right?"

His smile was wicked. "Do I look like someone who jokes baby girl ? Now, read the next sentence."
