The incredible Pete

The next two days consisted of five activities: sightseeing with our colleagues and their families, eating like we hadn't eaten anything in years, shopping, drinking like alcoholics while partying and trying to hide from our bosses when we were drunk. Josh's dear friend Angela helped achieve the latter part, she drove us to the hotel and made sure we didn't attract too much attention with the drunk stunts Jace did.
After 3 days of that routine we said goodbye to Angela, who was apparently some kind of doctor, I didn't understand what kind of doctor because I was either too drunk or that German phrase she used was just too difficult. Anyway, we packed our full-from-shopping bags and went to Fantasieland. It was Josh's turn to take care of our entertainment. We checked in trying to ignore the excited screams of children, and Jace.

" After being so responsible in Berlin I think that we all have to relax and have a break from our exhausting daily lives" Jace said emphasizing the word responsible.
" I don't know about you guys but I think I need to sober up. I don't think I remember anything from the conference due to being hangover. I just pretended to watch the guy speaking for a couple of hours. You're so lucky you didn't have to do that Josh. I bet you were in dreamland all these mornings." I said.
" I was actually hanging out with Pete, my 10 year old bro. All the kids were staying with one of their parents who wasn't working or with that guy they hired to look after the kids, buuut that guy was boring and Pete's dad is awesome so he let me look after Pete while he was at the conference. We walked in the streets of Berlin eating ice cream while you were bored to death."
" How come we've never met Pete and why didn't his mother come with us?" I asked suspiciously.
" His mother passed away last year." Jace, who was suspiciously quiet all this time said.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." I said.
" He's pretty awesome, so I guess I should introduce him to you. He'll be riding with us cause some of the Fantasieland rides require an adult accompanying young children and his dad gets dizzy easily." he said and left to find Pete.
Jace and I went to the room to unpack and rest for a while. A couple of minutes later, Josh and Pete entered the room, eating an extremely large packet of haribos.

" Boring motherfuckers, this is Pete. Pete, these are two boring motherfuckers." Josh made the introduction
Pete chuckled and shook our hands, while I told him our actual names. After eating all the haribos, we headed straight to the amusement park and walked around. We only tried the spinning teacups ride and felt a little nauseous from eating too many haribos so we decided to just hang out and find a place to eat dinner. Suddenly Pete spoke up breaking the silence.
" Josh?"
" Pete?" Josh said ironically.
" Do you see that girl? " he asked pointing at a brunette around our age.
" Yeah, what about her? "
" I can get her number for you " Pete said confidently.
" What's the catch?" Josh answered suspiciously.
" You will buy me ice cream after dinner."
" Her number is of no use, we'll be leaving in three days. Can you arrange me a date for tomorrow? "
" Deal" Pete said and started approaching the girl.
" What if she doesn't speak English? How will he talk with her?" Jace asked, curious.
"Pete speaks German but not that well, he knows just enough to communicate." Josh answered.

We watched carefully as Pete talked to the girl telling her something we couldn't understand while she looked at Josh and smiled. After a while Pete started walking toward us with a smile plastered on his face.

" Tomorrow six pm, don't mess this up." he said to Josh, while Jace and I looked at him astounded.
" Thanks bro. What's her name? "
" You'll get her name when I get my ice cream" Pete answered as we walked towards a hot dog stand to get dinner.
