Little gifts. (Mountain x Reader)

(Y/f/s stands for your favorite stone : Y/f/p is your favorite plant)

It was a normal day in the ministry surprisingly, it was rare, but since Sodo wasn't there to cause chaos it made sense. You were in your room scrolling through your social media when you heard a soft knock on your door

"Come in!" You shouted and watched the door as it opened, it was mountain, the tall earth ghoul.

"Uh..hi.." he hummed, holding something behind his back, his stance shifting constantly

"Well you look nervous, what's up?" You questioned as you stood up and walked over to him peaking around him "whatcha got?"

He moved his hands so you couldn't see and adjusted his stance again "uhm..I- actually it's nothing..sorry for wasting your time" He stammered and started walking before you caught his arm

"Now now, just tell me what it is." You huffed and got closer to the larger man, looking up at him

"I got you a plant..I grew a bunch of y/f/p and I remember you saying how you liked these ones a lot so I got one out of my greenhouse for you I'm sorry if it's stupid-" he rambled on before you cut him off

"Are you kidding?! You remember that?" You exclaimed and grabbed the plant and examined it, you notice he also had y/f/s on top of the dirt "seriously? Even y/f/s?" You couldn't contain your excitement as you put the plant down on a surface nearby and hugged him tightly.

He was quite surprised at your reaction but was happy you liked it and hugged you back, leaning down slightly. "I'm glad you like it." He mumbled and kissed the top of your head.

"Of course I do silly." You said and smiled, looking at his affectionate eyes, god you could get lost in his eyes, they were so pretty.

"I have to go help Papa with something so I'll see you later." He sighed and walked away, leaving you in your room. You examined the plant with a soft smile.

Satans he was adorable. You put the plant on your dresser where it got the most light during the day, and then laid back down. It confused you on if he was just being friendly or if he liked you, you had been dropping hints for months, but Mountain being Mountain didn't pick up on them.

A few hours later you heard your door open, it was Mountain. "Hello Y/n." He greeted you

"Hi Tain' whatcha need." You asked

"I uhm...I need to tell you something." He fidgeted nervously with his hands and rings as he talked to you

"Oh. Okay. Yeah anything, whats going on?"

"So I uhm..." He stuttered and mumbled something under his breath before taking a deep breath and looking at you "I like you. Y/n." He confessed

This made you all red, he thought you looked pretty adorable all red but waited for your response. "I- you have no idea how long I've waited for you to say that. I like you too Mountain." You giggled and walked up to him

"May I?" He cautioned before putting a hand in your cheek and grazing your lip with his thumb

"Yes. Yes please do." You begged as his lips came down to yours, it was a soft and gentle kiss, one that you definitely expected from him.

"It's time for bed. I'll see you." He said softly and pecked your lips one last time

"Wait- can we cuddle.." you asked nervously

"Of course." He swept you up into his arms and put you on the bed, then crawled in after you and cuddled you, you fell asleep breathing in his scent, he smelt like burnt wood and soil, one you would never get tired of as you drifted off to sleep.
