Lore before we start

1. Hephaestus and Aphrodite are happily married and the relationship is incredibly healthy, with neither of them having any problems with their spouse continuing to have half-blood children whilst married to one another. Ares is Aphrodite's ex, and she left him for Hephaestus.

2. Hephaestus and Aphrodite have always known that Toni is Hephaestus' daughter, with the goddess of love and beauty even having blessed her at birth.

3. Toni was conceived from a one night stand between a drunken Howard Stark and Hephaestus in female form. Baby Toni showed up, in a basket, on his doorstep 9 months later, wrapped in a stitched blanket that both Hephaestus and Aphrodite blessed for protection, and a legitimate paternity test stating that she was a Stark.

4. Peter is Toni's son and he is his her whole world. She had given birth at home both parts due to not wanting Peter's birth to be all over social media if she had birthed him in a hospital, and because she felt more comfortable in her own space with an OBGYN and midwife that she chose herself. There is nothing, within reason, that Toni wouldn't do for her child's happiness and wellbeing.

5. Peter very clearly is a Stark, and it's not just his features that give it away. The first major giveaway is his intelligence, with an IQ of 250 - only 20 quotients behind his mother's IQ of 270 (which is comic book accurate) - he does school work that would be assigned to high school sophomores when he was just age 7, and the only reason he attends high school (under the surname of Parker, as he lives with his Godmother, May Parker, during the school week) is for the social aspect. But he also has his mother's tendency to have food hidden all over the tower and the lab, along with a lovely sarcastic disposition.

6. Before Toni met Leo and gave him access to her personal lab, she has only bestowed three people such an honour: Peter, Bruce Banner, and later Bucky Barnes.

7. Apollo has always been intrigued by stories of this Iron Maiden, but after learning of the armoured heroine's identity and what she had done for the progress of medicine, he was completely smitten.

8. Even from a young age, Toni noticed that technology and metal has always acted weird around her, in the sense that scrap or loose metal would shake slightly whenever she walked past her father's lab/garage and tech became infinitely more efficient the moment she started using it. Nevermind that at times, it was almost as if the blueprints of whatever she was working on just downloaded itself into her head the moment she got her hands on it.
