◽️3rd person's pov:-

🔹7 days later: 2nd trial day

Tay & New were in court now after spending 7 days in custody... After thoroughly discussing with Charn they decided to focus on the monetary relations between Earth & Namtan in time of answering questions...

🔹11 a. m. (Trial begins)

Charn presented the video of the old anique shop owner (who clearly told that Tay & New didn't even know eo's names & he never saw Tay in this locality b4) along with a cctv footage of that day(San & June helped to collect these)

•Charn: "So your honor It's absolutely baseless claiming that Mr. Tay & Mr. New knew eo b4 their spouses' death"
•O. L.: "Your honor this clip has no authenticity, they can put up an act of not knowing eo, meeting in a shop was definitely a part..."
•Charn: "May I present my 1st witness, Mr. Thada, the manager of their company"

Thada came to podium & pointed out the fact that Earth sold the shares to Namtan after receiving the money without New's knowledge, even he didn't know Tay was Nami's husband... Jane became their 2nd witness who confirmed Thada's claim, Luke whispered something to O. L.'s ears when Jane was still in witness box...

•O. L. : "Miss Jane, don't you think your two bosses are unnecessarily close in office? Doesn't you feel that their interaction look like a couple's talk? According to some pics it looks like they loves to cling with e. o."

•Jane: "Sir with due respect the two persons you're talking about are my bosses as well as like my big brothers, so judging their relationship isn't my job but the person I mean Mr. Luke who made you ask this, can I ask him ask a question too..."

Luke squinted his eyes, Jane continued :
"Mr. Luke you & I bumped into eo., quarreled with eo many times in past days too, you helped me sometimes in office stuff too, c. c. Tv can prove that too, does that mean we're in romantic relationship too? I think you really watch a lot of daily soaps & if I'm not wrong you're the one who collected these footages without their presence in time of SibGene's Wedding"

Charn laughed, Tay & New couldn't be more grateful, Luke nodded his head with a small smile but he could see pure hatred for him in Jane's eyes...
