° Author's Pov:-

Everything was blurry in front of him now, New couldn't see anything, he didn't understand whether it's the heavy downpour or his own teardrops that were blocking him to see/ think anything further...

"Sir, Sir where do you wanna go? weather isn't good, I can't go more, I've to return to my family", the cab driver asked...

Family, yes his family, his everything, his love, his Earth, he needed to reach to him, New cried loudly, " yes, I've to go to my family too. please take me to the crossing... "

He couldn't complete his sentence when the driver replied, "but the roads r blocked there, a crashed car & two persons r found dead on the spot"

"No, no you're lying, my Earthe is alive, you don't know anything, his birthday is on next day after Tomorrow, take me there I'll pay you double"- New shouted while sobbing

Cab driver understood something & silently reached the exact spot where police put barricades, some guards came running: "don't park here, can't you see the warning board?" Cab driver: "sir my passenger is related to someone here who is.." he paused looking at the crying man, then he helped New to get off from the car, New noticed Earth's broken car by the corner of his eyes, paid the driver while his hands were shaking, driver sadly smiled @ the man & replied "Be strong, boy!" & left

The guards took him near the scene which even in his darkest nightmare he could never imagine, his whole body was trembling, his vision was getting blurry again, his heart clenched, droplets were falling from his bangs, he fell on the ground, some people shook him to his senses, he cried & crawled towards the two dead bodies, one of which was still covered with white cloth while the other one of a woman, was hugged tightly by another man whose heart wrenching cry was piercing into his ears

He sat near the covered body, looked at those people around him, their curious eyes were judging him, took off the white cloth, started sobbing hard, his Earth's face was half burnt, full blood soaked body was covered with bruises & cuts, his fav black shirt was all torn...

"Earthe, nong,  don't play hard... hic.. hic..Wake up babe... Wake up... hic..See I'm here"

"Nami... Yaar... U know I hate surprises... hic... hic... don't make me angry... hic... I'll never forgive u... Talk to me please..."

The whole sky was overcast while the whole spot was numb, only two grieving men's ranting could be heard, a sudden gust of wind suddenly blew away a part of the white clothes, revealing two hands, entangled fingers & two glistening wedding rings on those fingers

Two pair of swollen eyes stuck on those hands & immediately looked at each other without any 2nd thought & screamed together pointing @ each other-

"You?".... "You!"
