Chapter 4

Next morning :
The next morning dawned crisp and clear. The sun was casting its golden rays over the rugged terrain of Mt. Silver. And now finally me and Gary were one more step closer to reach the peak of the mountain where our real training will finally start.
But as of now here we are; at the base of the rocky cliffs, with our Pokémon by our sides, ready to embark on the daunting ascent ahead.

"This is it," I said. My voice tinged with excitement and nervous energy. "Time to pass our first test."

Gary nodded, his expression focused. "Remember, slow and steady wins the race Ashy-boy. Let's take it one step at a time."

Gary slipped on a particularly precarious section, his heart pounding as he struggled to regain his balance.

"Ash, a little help here!" he called out, his voice tinged with urgency.

I sprang into action; reaching out a hand to steady my best friend. "Got you, Gary. Hang on tight."

And with my support, Gary managed to regain his footing, his heart pounding in his chest. "Thanks, Ash. That was close."

"No problem mate," I replied, my voice filled with reassurance. "We're in this together, remember?"

And with renewed determination, we pressed on.

Our Pokémon following close behind. Their presence as a source of strength and encouragement.
But just as we thought we had overcome the worst of the terrain, a sudden gust of wind threatened to knock us off balance, sending loose rocks tumbling down the mountainside.
