Kim Jennie stared at the door, her heart pounding against her chest as she waited for Kim Taehyung to return home. The tension in the air was thick, suffocating her as she rehearsed what she was going to say in her mind.

When Taehyung finally walked through the door, his expression was hardened, his eyes cold as they met hers. "What's the matter, Jennie?" he asked, his voice laced with annoyance.

"We need to talk," Jennie said, her voice trembling slightly.

"About what?" Taehyung replied, already sounding defensive.

"About us," Jennie said, her voice gaining strength. "I don't think this relationship is healthy anymore."

Taehyung's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

"I mean," Jennie said, taking a deep breath, "I think you're toxic, Taehyung. You're controlling, manipulative, and I can't do this anymore."

Taehyung's face contorted with anger. "You think I'm toxic? After everything I've done for you?"

"This isn't about what you've done for me," Jennie said, her voice rising. "It's about how you make me feel. I'm constantly walking on eggshells around you, afraid of what might set you off next."

Taehyung scoffed. "Oh please, Jennie. You're just being dramatic."

"I'm not being dramatic," Jennie shot back. "I'm being honest. And if you can't handle that, then maybe we shouldn't be together."

Taehyung's eyes flashed with rage, and before Jennie could react, his hand came across her face in a sharp slap. Jennie stumbled backward, her hand flying to her cheek as tears filled her eyes.

"How dare you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.

"I'm sorry," Taehyung said, his own voice shaking now. "I didn't mean to... I just... I don't know what came over me."

Jennie shook her head, her heart breaking as she realized that this was the final straw. "I can't do this anymore, Taehyung. I deserve better than this."

Taehyung reached out to her, his eyes pleading. "Please, Jennie. I love you. I'll change, I promise."

But Jennie knew better than to believe his empty promises. "I'm sorry, Taehyung," she said, her voice firm. "But it's over."

With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Taehyung alone in the empty room, his heart shattered into a million pieces.

Weeks passed since the heated argument between Kim Jennie and Kim Taehyung. The tension in the air lingered, thick and suffocating, as Jennie tried to navigate her way through the wreckage of their relationship. Taehyung's apology seemed sincere at first, but Jennie couldn't shake the feeling that it was just another one of his manipulative tactics.

One evening, as they sat across from each other at the dinner table, Taehyung dropped a bombshell that sent shivers down Jennie's spine. "Jennie, I've been offered a job abroad," he said, his eyes fixed on hers.

Jennie's heart sank. She knew what was coming next. "And... what does that have to do with me?" she asked cautiously.

Taehyung's lips curled into a sly smile. "Well, I was thinking... maybe we could start fresh. You know, get married and come with me."

Jennie's breath caught in her throat. Marriage? The thought of spending the rest of her life tied to Taehyung sent waves of dread washing over her. But she also knew what would happen if she refused. Taehyung would leave, and she would be alone.

"I... I don't know, Taehyung," she stammered, trying to buy herself some time.

Taehyung's smile faltered, replaced by a look of thinly veiled anger. "Jennie, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. If you really loved me, you would come with me."

Jennie felt the weight of his words pressing down on her, crushing her resolve. "Okay," she finally whispered, her voice barely audible.

Taehyung's smile returned, but it was tinged with triumph. "Good," he said, his voice dripping with satisfaction. "I'll start making the arrangements."

As the days passed, Jennie felt like she was suffocating under the weight of Taehyung's expectations. She couldn't shake the feeling that she was making a terrible mistake, but she felt trapped, unable to escape the web of manipulation that Taehyung had woven around her.

But amidst the chaos, there was one person who offered her a glimmer of hope: her cousin, Jungkook. With his kind eyes and gentle smile, he became Jennie's anchor in the storm, offering her solace and support when she needed it most.

As the wedding day drew nearer, Jennie found herself drawn to Jungkook more and more, his presence offering her a sense of peace that she hadn't felt in a long time. And in the quiet moments they shared together, she began to realize that maybe, just maybe, there was a way out of the darkness that had consumed her life.

But as the wedding bells chimed in the distance, Jennie couldn't shake the feeling of dread that settled in the pit of her stomach. She knew that the decision she was about to make would change the course of her life forever. And as she stood at the altar, staring into Taehyung's eyes, she knew that she had to find the courage to follow her heart, no matter the cost.

As the wedding ceremony proceeded, Jennie's heart grew heavier with each passing moment. She stole glances at Jungkook, hoping to find some reassurance in his eyes, but all she found was disappointment and hurt.

After the ceremony, as the guests mingled and celebrated, Jennie approached Jungkook tentatively. "Jungkook, can we talk?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jungkook turned to face her, his expression unreadable. "What is there to talk about, Jennie? You made your choice."

"I know this isn't what you wanted," Jennie said, her voice trembling. "But please, try to understand. I had no other choice."

Jungkook's eyes flashed with anger. "No other choice? You could have said no, Jennie. You could have stood up for yourself. But instead, you chose to marry him."

Tears welled up in Jennie's eyes as she struggled to find the right words. "I... I was scared, Jungkook. I didn't know what else to do."

"Scared?" Jungkook scoffed. "You think marrying him was the solution? You think that's going to make everything better?"

Jennie's heart ached at the pain in Jungkook's voice. "I don't know, Jungkook. I just... I thought I was doing the right thing."

Jungkook shook his head, his frustration evident. "The right thing? Marrying someone you don't love? That's not the right thing, Jennie. That's the coward's way out."

"I'm sorry, Jungkook," Jennie whispered, her voice barely audible over the din of the crowd. "I never meant to hurt you."

Jungkook's eyes softened slightly, but the hurt remained. "I know you didn't, Jennie. But that doesn't change the fact that you broke my heart."

As Jennie watched Jungkook walk away, a wave of regret washed over her. She knew that she had made a mistake, one that she would have to live with for the rest of her life. And as she looked at Taehyung, standing by her side with a smug smile on his face, she couldn't help but wonder if she would ever find the courage to break free from the chains that bound her to him.
