Chapter 2

Taylor's P.O.V

"Hey, Hayley!" I yelled across the hall. Her red hair flipped as she whipped around.

"Oh! Hey Taylor!" She said smiling. I couldn't help but admire her beauty.

"C'mon. I'll take you to Jeremy's car since we are headed to his place." I said smiling.

"Thanks!" She said seeming really happy.

"So how did your first day go?" I asked making small talk during the walk to the car.

"It actually went really good! I'm happy I made a few friends. I have a horrible time making friends that are girls." she stated giggling.

"It's fine. Plus it's cool to have a girl around who isn't constantly worrying about her hair or a broken nail." I said laughing.

"Yeah. honestly girls like that really piss me off tbh." a look of annoyance crossed her face.

She's so beautiful. I love the way her hair falls on her shoulders and how she doesn't look perfect. how she seems to be herself. I want to get to know her really well. i want her to be mine, like she's just so da-

"Taylorrrrrrrr?" Jeremy said snapping a finger in my face.

"Oh. uh. hey." I said not even realizing I had already reached the car.

"You okay buddy?" He asked with a confused look on his face.

"Yeah! I've never been better. where's Hayley?" I asked looking around.

"She's in the truck. kinda like you're supposed to be." he said pushing me towards the truck. I climbed in the back noticing Hayley was back there too.

"I'm nervous guys. what if your band mates don't like me. what if they don't want a girl in the band?" She said biting her bottom lip.

"Hayley, don't sweat it. we really need a singer. like badly. they probably don't care if you're a girl, or if you're an alien. trust me. it'll be fine." he said giving her a reassuring smile.

"Okay. but I have no clue if I can sing or not." she said slightly looking down and not making eye contact.

"So if you can't sing we will find you another part." he said smiling.

"Now off we go!" He said flying down the road causing me to buckle my seatbelt.

"Damn kid!" I said blurring out.

*10 minutes later*

"Alright. we're here." Jeremy said opening both our doors.

Hayley climbed out looking really nervous. I walked over to her and looked down. she is so short. she must be 5'2.

"Hayley. don't be nervous. everything will work out I just have a feeling" I said smiling down, looking into her green eyes.

"I hope so, T. Can I call you T?" She said laughing a little.

"Of course you can. call me whatever you like." I said smiling bigger than I ever should have.

"C'mon Fireball & Afro!!" Jeremy yelled as he entered the garage around back.

We walked to the garage. going kinda slow knowing Hayley was nervous. Finally once we arrived I saw the look josh have Hayley. he was checking her out. smiling at her small body.

"Hey guys. I'm Hayley." she said smiling at the ground.

"Hi Hayley. I'm josh. Josh Farro. & this is my brother zac." he said pointing at the drums which zac was at.

"I play lead guitar, Jeremy plays the bass, zac plays the drums, & Taylor plays backup guitar." he said pointing at all the instruments as he spoke.

"And I assume you are gonna sing?" He said smiling

"I'm not really sure if I can sing but Jeremy insisted i try." she said smiling at him.

"Well than lets get started." he said picking up his guitar.

"Do you know inbetween days by the cure?" He asked strumming a G.

"Yeah! I love the Cure!!" She said overly excited.

"Awesome!" He said throwing her a mic.

"Count us off Hayley." I said smiling, noticing Josh gave me a dirty glare as I said that.

"1...2....1,2,3,4" she said into the mic as we started strumming the intro.

She put the mic back in the stand and looked down looking kinda sad.

"I'm sorry guys, I suck I didn't really thi-" we all cut her off saying 100 compliments at once that I couldn't tell what we were saying.

"Wait. One at a time." she said laughing.

"Hayley. your voice is perfect. please be our singer" I said asking before josh could.

"I would love to!" She said smiling and doing s victory dance.

"Good! Can't wait to have band practices with you." Josh said eyeing her body.

He's such a fucking creep, I thought to myself.

"Same! It's cool being in a band with you guys already!" She stated still smiling

"Hey, Josh. Can I see your phone?" She said smiling.

"Yeah. sure" he said handing her his phone.

She started typing and as soon as she was done she smiled at him widely. "all done." she said handing him the phone.

"Hey Jeremy, can you take me home." I said sounding annoyed not even meaning to.

"Yeah sure." he said knowing something was up.

"Wait, can you take me home to?" Hayley asked popping out her bottom lip.

"Yeah, cmon munchkin." Jeremy said ruffing up her hair.

"Yay!" She said coming up next to me.

"I'll race you there afro." she said looking up at me and smiling.

"I'll beat you there fireball." I said winking as I ran off. surly enough her short legs managed to beat me to the truck.
