Dude honestly I probably didn't beta read this, not sure actually, the last time I opened it was May 28 and it's now July 1, so I mean💀💀

But I hope you enjoy the part, there's heavy mentions of vomiting, so be prepared for that, and the POV jumps a bunch, but overall I hope you enjoy <3

Buck's POV:

I was internally overjoyed, I finally had him after over three years (guys is that right?). I stayed in his arms for a while until I heard a few others walk in, so I sat up and watched as they walked in with everyone, all the kids and others that were connected to the group, Michael, Karen, etc.

"How did you lot convince the staff to let you all in?" I laughed, and they all smiled as Maddie said, "with the promise of cake and snacks." (I know that a group of people is allowed in during regular visiting hours, but keep in mind this is like 17+ people in one tiny ass hospital room, pretty sure that's a hazard lmao)

I smiled as she walked over and hugged me before counting down to the group. When she got to one they all said happy birthday, and Denny and Christopher walked over, each of them sitting on either side of me as Eddie got off to let them be with me. Harry and May both sat at the end of my bed and all four of them handed me the gifts that they had picked out for me.

May gave me some bracelets, Harry gave me more hair ties, Denny gave me more lollipops, and Chris gave me some little charms for my keys. I took the gifts and thanked them, hugging the two next to me and then leaning forward to hug the other two before laying back. Maddie put Jee in my lap and I hugged her before putting my arms around the two next to me.

I got other gifts from the rest of the group, mostly lollipops, and I thanked everyone as they handed things to me. I remained where I was with the kids as Maddie and Athena brought out a cake, starting to plate some slices.

Maddie asked if I wanted any and I turned her down, I felt like if I did I would throw up, so I just said I wasn't really hungry and probably shouldn't be eating it anyways and she nodded, handing it to Eddie before continuing to pass out more plates.

Very soon I began to feel tired with all the social interaction, so I started to talk less and space out more. By this time the kids had all moved to the bottom of my bed to play a game, and Eddie noticed that I was spaced out, so he took my hand as he continued his conversation with the others. I laid my head back on my pillows and closed my eyes, and pretty soon I had fallen asleep.

Eddie's POV:

I felt her grip loosen, so I looked over to see that she was sleeping. I smiled as I stood up, climbing in the bed next to her and pulling her to lay on me, and when I did she wrapped her arms around me and fell back asleep.

I stayed with her for a while until I fell asleep also, holding onto her as she did the same, both of us sleeping contently in each other's arms. (So cutesy)

Maddie's POV:

I was talking with some of the group when I looked over, seeing Eddie and Eva sleeping, and she looked so peaceful, something that hadn't happened in a few years, and I was happy for her.

I smiled as I took a picture of them, sending it to the group, and everyone looked up at them when they saw the picture, smiling as a few of them took pictures of their own, all of us agreeing that they definitely were a thing since Eva was only like that with me, Ravi, and occasionally Athena.

I checked the time and realized that I should probably leave and take Jee home, so I helped clean up before Athena and Hen helped me carry food out to the staff, giving them what we didn't take, and then returning as I picked up Jee and said bye to everyone before walking out with Chimney next to me.
