It's the weekend, and Kenza was so excited. People might assume her excitement was for her to hangout with her friends or engaging in an out door activity, but no, all she wanted was to hear what Laura had to say.
Audrey had already texted Kenza to start her preparations since they were to meet in the next hour. Kenza wore her blue mum jeans, a black tank top, and white sneakers, and styled her black hair in a side sweep with curls.
"Mom, I'll be heading out now, and I might be back late, so don't wait for me for dinner. I'll just eat out with my friends." Kenza shouted so her mum could hear her from the living room.
"Okay, honey, don't forget to have fun." Juliana shouted back.
Kenza headed out of the house and took a cab to the restaurant where they planned to meet. Upon arriving, Audrey was already seated there, looking beautiful in her black bodycon sleeveless jumpsuit and her brown hair styled slick up. Kenza immediately spotted her and went over to her.
"You're quite early. Here I was thinking I was the only one who was excited." Kenza said while seating down.
"Look who's here, Laura and her sidekick that doesn't leave her side." Audrey's smile changed to disappointment.
"And here I thought we would be alone." Kenza's rolled her eyes
"Hi Kenza, hi Audrey, it's been a long time since we've seen each other." Laura smiled at both Kenza and Audrey while seating down.
"Hi Laura." they both smiled at Laura, and totally ignoring Angelica.
Angelica, being Angelica took her seat without altering a word to Kenza and Audrey. Laura observing the awkwardness between them, decided to say something.
"Kenza, Audrey, do you both remember Angelica?" Laura asked.
"Yes we do." Kenza and Audrey both replied.
"How can I forget her." Kenza quietly muttered but Audrey tapped her on the laps, signaling her not to speak.
A waiter came in and took their order. A few minutes later, their food was brought to their table.
"Finally, I was starving, I waited for a while before you latecomers could arrive." Audrey said excitedly, looking at her food, while Laura and Kenza giggled.
"Well, for the main reason why we are here." Laura adjusted herself a little so she could say her story to their hearing.
"It's about time." Kenza said, and they all giggled except Angelica.
"You guys are quite aware I was madly in love with Logan, but to be honest, love isn't everything in a relationship. Logan couldn't provide anything for me, it was tiring. I tried to be the perfect girlfriend who understood the situation he was in, but he kept giving me promises and not even working for it. I had to make up my mind to leave him, and luckily for me, i over heard my boss's sister talking about some company that arranges marriages for wealthy people. you get to meet, date, and even marry a freaking billionaire." Laura got cut off by Kenza.
"Hold on, something like that really exist and it's not well-known?" Kenza asked, feeling confused.
"It does. It's only known by the Elites. It's something that's private and not advertised like some soap advert on tv. I thought my boss's sister was saying something absurd, so I checked them out on Instagram, and they do have an Instagram account, but you won't see their clients m, just a couple flyers. So, I decided to give it a try and book an appointment with them. Gosh, you need to see the amount of money these people were charging just to be a member so they could hook you up." Laura said
"Wow, this looks like something straight out Of a movie." Audrey said, shockingly.
"I know, right? That was the same thing i thought when I heard about them. But the money is really worth it though, I gave up all my savings, and it paid off. There are like four membership cards: there's silver, gold, diamond and platinum. The platinum one's are for the big dogs. I couldn't afford that amount; it was too high for me, so I stuck with the diamond. I'm telling you, it's worth every penny. Woo, I feel like I've been talking forever. I haven't had a bite of my food yet." Laura said, taking a bite of her food.
"Wow, this is really shocking. To believe that something like this exist is like wow. How much does each membership cost?" Kenza asked.
"So, the silver is about 1.5million dollars, the gold is 2.5 million dollars, the diamond is 4.5 million dollars and the platinum is 8.5 mlillion dollars." Laura said.
"What! That much, that's ridiculously high." Kenza exclaimed out of shock.
"I've got no issues with it. You have to spend good money to get good quality." Angelica answered in an unbothered manner.
"Laura, how were you able to get that
Much money?" Audrey asked.
"Girl, I've got savings, plus I did invest a little money into crypto, and it gave me quite a lot of money, so I cashed it all out and invested in my love life." Laura said happily.
"Wow, I'm in utmost disbelief right now." Kenza said still trying to grasp the whole thing Laura just told her.
"What's there to be shocked about? Laura, I told you not to tell them, they aren't even financially capable of doing it." Angelica rudely said.
"Hey, look at this one acting all high and mighty. Better come down from that invisible throne before I drag you down from there." Kenza angrily replied Angelica's rude remark.
"What do you mean by that, how dare...." Laura cuts Angelica off.
"Guys, this isn't the time to fight, No one's even asking me about their Instagram handle." Laura said.
"What's their Handle?" Audrey asked.
"Elite kings Group, in short EKG. hold on, I'll show you guys." Laura picked up her phone and searched the page on Instagram and showed it to them.
"I told you guys they are private. They just got a few fliers and that's it. I've played my part by telling you girls. It's left for you three to play yours. The ball is now in your court." Laura shrugged.
"For me, like I said, I've got no issues. I don't know about them." Angelica said.
"We got no issues too." Kenza angrily replied.
"As if." Angelica smirked, making Kenza more upset.
