The next few weeks passed in a blissful, passion-filled haze for Sarah and James. When they weren't getting deliciously lost in each other's arms, they were attached at the hip - going for long walks, catching indie films, or lounging in the park devouring their latest literary obsessions.

Claire gave an approving nod. "I can dig it. So are you planning on putting a ring on it anytime soon and wifing up my girl? Because let me tell you, I've never seen her look at anyone the way she looks at you."
Sarah's blush deepened as James shot her an utterly besotted grin. "Is that so? Well, don't think the thought hasn't crossed my mind..."
Before Sarah could combust from giddiness and embarrassment, their waiter arrived with steaming plates of eggs benedict, avocado toast, and mimosas. As they dug into the decadent food, she noticed James strike up an amiable conversation with Claire about travel writing and imagining new worlds through words.
Watching the two most important people in her life connect so easily made Sarah's heart feel fit to burst with joy. Her whirlwind romance with James was clearly just the beginning of an incredible new chapter unfolding. Where this winding path would ultimately lead, she hadn't a clue.
