Chris's POV

Turns out that Bella is pretty clumsy and she ended up spraining her ankle when they decided to go on a hike one afternoon with Dodger.
It reminded them both of how they first met at the infinity war premiere.

He insisted that she extended two week trip until her ankle healed as he insisted she stayed so he could play her personal doctor.

It's been been close to four weeks that they have spent together and it's been total paradise having her live with him.
They wake up together which normally involves them fucking either in bed or the shower, spend the day together doing random activities and then they go to sleep cuddled up together after being overly exhausted from a long night of love making.

She truly was insatiable.

As much as he hates seeing her in pain he's happy that she stayed a little longer and thankfully is able to work the best she can while she stays by his side.

They have met up with Scott a couple of times but Bella is still reluctant to meet his mom and as much as he wants to understand, he really wants to introduce her.
But he will go at the speed Bella wants he doesn't want to scare her away, especially not now he knows what it's like to actually be with her.

"Why didn't you call me" he says spotting Bella hobbling into the kitchen from her nap.
God the sight of her in one of his t-shirts has him hardening in his sweats.

"I could manage it's not that bad anymore" she says sliding onto the kitchen island stool and placing her laptop down.

"You hungry?" He asks walking up to her and kissing her.
"No I'm okay, I have some work to do. Oh and then I need to pack as I managed to get a flight back home tomorrow" she announces like it's nothing.
"You're going back?" He asks confused where this has come from.

"Yeah you will have thanksgiving coming up with your family and I need to get home for my dad's birthday" she says not looking up from her laptop.

"I just thought maybe you would stay for thanksgiving" he hates to admit that he doesn't want her to leave.
He thought thanksgiving would be the perfect opportunity to introduce her to the family.

"Sorry I can't miss my dad's birthday" she gives him a small smile.
"So this is my last day with you" he moves so he's cuddling her from behind.

But before she can respond her phone rings and he steps to the side to let her answer.
"Hey H, not it's fine I was just calling to check your okay to get me from the airport tomorrow, I sent you the details" she balances the phone between her ear and shoulder so she can type on the laptop.

He can't hear what he responds but she laughs.
"No I don't need a wheelchair, I will be able to walk just fine" she jokingly scoffs
"Rude and so not true" she laughs.

Chris watches her as she smiles and laughs at whatever Harrison is saying.
"Alright doofus I gotta go but I will see you tomorrow. Remember to keep it secret I'm surprising dad for his birthday as he thinks I'm staying here. Oh and don't forget to collect the present for me as I won't get it in time... Amazing you are the best. Alright see ya loser" and she hangs up with a smile on her face.

Is it irrational for him to be jealous at the fact she's smiling like a Cheshire Cat because of another guy?

"I've been meaning to ask" Chris says not sure how to word what he wants to ask.
"Yeah?" She looks up at him.

"You and Harrison?" He begins but stops not sure how to put it delicately.
"Me and Harrison what?" she looks at him confused.
"Have the two of you ever dated or you know?" He asks awkwardly trying to make suggestive eyes so she knows what he's asking.

"You're asking if we ever had sex?" She replies bluntly.
"Yeah I guess I am" he shrugs.

"Yeah he was my first, we probably dated around two years before we decided we were better off as friends" she answers honestly and he doesn't know why he's suddenly filled with even more jealousy.
"Does it not make it awkward the fact that you've slept together?" he's not really sure what he's asking now.

"No we've never found it awkward. It's in the past, we started dating at 15, slept together for the first time at 16 and broke up at 17. Wait a second" she stares at him "Are you jealous?" She raises her eye brow at him.

"I knew the two of you were close and I wondered if something had happened but I didn't realise you actually dated. I do find it slightly strange your that close with an ex" he replies honestly.
"I'm not going to stop being friends with him just because he's an ex if that's what you're trying to get at. Yeah we dated but we work best as friends, there's nothing romantic between us anymore" she crosses her arms across her chest.

"I'm not saying for you to not be friends with him it's just going to take me a moment to process. You guys dated for two years and are still crazy close, I've not known many people to stay friendly with an ex like you guys are. How would you feel if I was that close to an ex?" his tone was angrier than he intended it to be.

"Well I'm going to pack while you try and wrap your head around it. And I would be fine with it if I knew there was nothing romantic between you. I find it rather mature when you can remain friends with an ex" she slams her laptop shut and jumps down from the stool and suddenly winces in pain.

He rushes to her side.
"I'm fine" she huffs and tries to storm off but fails due to her ankle.
Chris lets her go so they can both take a moment to calm down before one of them says something they might regret.

This was their first fight and he hated it more than anything.

After an half hour and a phone call to Scott to talk things through, Chris makes his way to the bedroom in search of Bella to try and apologise for being an idiot.
He stops at his door when he hears her muffled cries, his heart sinks into his stomach when he realises he made her cry.

"Bella?" He pushes open the door to find her lying in his bed with the duvet over her face.
He gently crawls into bed with her and pulls her flush against him wrapping her in his arms.

"I'm sorry" he whispers and she sniffs but doesn't say anything.
"I was a jealous idiot" he admits and she moves her head so she looking up at him.
He wipes away the tears.

"There's nothing to be jealous about. Me and Harrison are friends and that's it, what I felt for him back then was nothing compared to what I feel for you. I really like you Chris" she shyly admits.

Those three words were on the tip of his tongue but it was too early, he didn't want to scare her away.

"I really like you too" he smiles and leans in to kiss her softly.
"Now can we please not spend our last few hours together fighting" she pouts.

"I'm going to miss you" he's loved spending all this time with her, it's going to be hard to adjust back to her being gone.
"I'm going to miss you too. Maybe we can try and find some time before Christmas for a visit?" She asks.
"I definitely want to see you before Christmas" he begins kissing down her neck whilst logging in the back of his mind to look up flights to London.

"Now how about you show me what I'm going to be missing. Give me something to think about to help me through the cold winter nights without you" her hand reaches down and starts stroking him through his sweats.

"You're going to need that wheelchair that Harrison mentioned after all" he smirks before his lips begin to travel south.
He feels the need to erase all traces of her past and just remind her off the future they have together.

God he's going to miss her when she goes back home.
