Walking into the house the girls were meeting up Leah stopped in her tracks at the sound of her phone ringing "Answer it, we'll wait for you inside." Ivy placed a hand on the younger girl's shoulder reassuring her about everything. The dark haired brunette girl let out a sigh as she read over the caller ID belonging to Taeja. She bit her lower lip feeling hesitant to answer her phone call. She had this weird feeling that it wasn't a good thing she's calling at this moment. She answered the call, pulling it closer to her ear. "Leah, we have a problem. It has to do with the opened case." She furrowed her brows as she looked around seeing a camera above the entryway. She turned to look away, her eyes searching the area for a place she could speak to her privately. She headed down the sidewalk as she turned the corner walking into an alleyway. Her eyes scanned the area making sure no one recognized her or tried to approach her. "What is it now, Taeja?" She asked, afraid of what she would say.
She felt this feeling in her gut telling her something wasn't right. Something was definitely off and she felt terrible about it. "Howl found a loophole in the case. I don't know how he did it but he managed to push out the court case for another two weeks." She let out a shaky breath as she felt a knife being stabbed into her chest. Just when she thought everything would be over soon. He managed to find a way out and to avoid being sentenced to prison. She couldn't believe it, none of this felt real anymore. To her all of it felt like a dream mixed with a nightmare. Something she will never wake up from. Her hands began to shake as she placed her left hand on the wall next to her. She leaned against it as she crouched down, unable to keep herself standing. "Do the rest of the victims know? How are we going to deal with this?" She asked, feeling her chest tighten in pain.
Her life has been too good to be true this far. She had just attended the MAMA's awards and went to win a trophy. Now she's back in hell trying not only to help over people but make justice for her naive younger self. "I'm not sure but none of the families are taking it well. I'll call you once I have more information regarding it." She nodded her head as she heard the phone call drop. She licked her lips as she took a deep breath in. She tried to focus her breathing not wanting to have a panic attack. She didn't want to worry the girls or trouble them. She already has Bada helping her with this something she never asked her for, yet, she did it from the bottom of her heart. It took her a minute to regain her composure but she still managed to plaster on a fake smile. Making her way inside the home she smiled at the teenage girls who screamed at the sight of her. She pulled them individually into a hug as she kissed the top of their heads.
They gathered around a table with a grill in the center. They were going to eat meat with ramen and other sides. Leah sat in the center flipping the meat over as she took care of the food. "So what do we have in mind?" Ivy asked wanting to know what they wanted to do as the performance.
The girls were all excited to get to perform on stage with their mentors. It has been a huge dream to each one of them to meet them in person let alone perform alongside them. Leah placed a piece of meat onto their plates as she continued to grill more food. Her hair pushed back into a low bun as she focused on the food making sure she didn't overcook it or burnt it. "We were thinking of maybe doing Beyonce? Everyone in Swf2 ended up choosing the queen of queens except you guys. We thought it would be a nice ending to it all or we could also do like a Rocky Balboa Final Countdown? We wanted to go somewhere along those songs." Ivy glanced at Leah wanting to know what she thought about it. After all she's the leader of their original group, someone who's always been good at choreographing and finding the right song for it. She noticed her nodding her head and not saying anything in response. Her eyes glued to the grill almost as she had something in her mind troubling her.
"Maybe we can also do Blackpink? What do you think, unnie?" Sakura asked Leah who took a sip of her cold water lost in her thoughts. The girls all turned to look at her waiting for some type of response from her. Yujin offered them a smile as she patted Leah on the knee trying to get her attention. She blinked a few times, averting her gaze to the girls. "What? Oh, yeah I like the ideas. I'm leaning more towards Beyonce. I think it would be a great idea to do a choreo for it." Nami chuckled at the older girl seeing how distracted she's been since the moment she walked in. The teenage girls might not know how crazy her life is but they figured she's been the busiest out of all the members from Eternal.
