It was now the next day, angels were already gathering around the place Sera wanted to announce this. Soon enough, it was time for Sera to announce the news.

"Attention ladies and gentlemen!" She spoke loudly into the microphone. All the chatter died down as people turned to look up at Sera.

"I have unfortunate news to share. Adam has passed away yesterday. The reason is unknown, but his assistant was found alive. She was found missing an arm. We have no clue what happened to them, and we presume it to just be an accident. Thank you all for your time, you all may be dismissed." Throughout the small speech, many peoples eyes widened in shock. The first man was found dead. That was something nobody had expected to hear today. Sera seemed to have done a good job announcing it, because nobody suspected it had something to do with the demons. Everyone except Emily. As soon as the area was flooded out, she walked up to Sera to ask about it.

"Sera, I know that is not the real reason. It is because of the demons, Isn't?" She questioned. Sera was shocked to see her sister talking to her, after such a long time since the had even been in the same area as one another.

"Yes, Emily. But please do not tell anyone anything, okay? And please..please for the love of god do not take it out on Lute. She sacrificed an arm to try and save him." was the response Emily got, and although it really angered her, she just nodded and flew away. Sera sighed and flew back to her place to get Adams halo, then flew to the hospital she knew Lute was at. She walked into the hospital, and was instantly greeted by a few angels. She eventually got past them, and walked up to the receptionist. Luckily, she did not even need to say who she was looking for since everyone knew she was looking to check on Lute.

"Room 275, first door to the left." The kind receptionist informed. After Sera thanked her, she walked to the room she was told Lute was. She walked in to see Lute awake, and trying to take the ivs out.

"Lute. Stop. You already disappointed me enough with getting your self hurt. It was very irresponsible." Sera spoke, sending daggers at Lute. Lute instantly stopped and looked at her, then mumbled an apology that was barley audible. A nurse walked in and saw them, and quickly exited.

"Lute, as you probably figured you are in charge now. I do not want to see this type of behavior from you. understood?" Lute just nodded before glancing down at the floor. It was no secret she already really missed him. Sera sighed once again before giving her the halo and walking out of the room. Lute, on the other hand, was happy to have the halo. But she really wondered what Lilith was doing. She wanted revenge. And she knew she would get it one way or another. She was tempted to rip every iv in her remaining arm out, but figured it was probably a smart idea since she was just lectured by her new boss about it. She couldn't get the image of Adam face first on the floor, blood seeping from the stab wound in his back. It was a real fucked up image. The cuts on her face were healing, which was a good sign. And her arm did not hurt as bad, probably because of all the drugs she was on. She was happy that she was able to stay in her uniform instead of wearing an hospital gown, though. She was looking around the room, when she saw a pair of medical scissor next to her. She picked them up, memorized by their shinyness.  She slowly pulled up her sleeve, but she stopped and glanced at Adams halo. Would he want this? She thought, her mind trying to tell if it was a good or bad decision to cut herself. She ended up thinking that was a fantastic idea. It could be a way to punish herself for being to slow, she thought. She only cut herself once, because it would be easy for anyone to see the blood seeping through. If she only did it once, it would just look like blood stains from demons. Suddenly, she heard the door click so she swiftly put the scissors and the halo under her pillow. the nurse walked in, yapping on about how she could leave after she cuts the iv. She looked everywhere, but could not find the scissors. The same pair that Lute had hidden. Eventually, they just resorted to Lute ripping them out. As soon as that was done, Lute grabbed the halo and  her newly found cope mechanism and flew out of the window back to her apartment, where she set the halo under her pillow at home. She then put the scissors on her nightstand. It was not really late, just around nine-thirty pm, but Lute just wanted to sleep to pass the time, and hopefully get her mind off of adam. She did not even bother washing herself or her uniform.

Meanwhile, Emily was laying on her bed staring up at the plain white roof. Why do angels kill the demons? What did they do? half the time, they do not even sin and they are just born there! How is that fair? Why can we not all just live together in peace and harmony? I thought that was what angels want all along. But I guess I was wrong. Maybe I should talk to Sera about it. Maybe there is a reason I just don't understand? But it is still really wrong! Whatever. I still hope Lute is coping okay, anyways. Despite her evilness, everybody deserves love. I hope that she can get past this alright! Oh, maybe I can make her a batch of cookies! I will do just that. Oh, she has gotta love it!

PLEASE DO NOT DO SH TO COPE!!1 It is not good!
